I sit on the plane, staring out of the window. It's a bright, sunny day, without a single cloud in the sky. I look around me, smiling when I see a father and son a few rows ahead of me on the other side. I think I recognize the family, isn't he the star whose wife died recently? If it was a different situation, I'd ask, but I figure that it would be a sensitive subject to bring up. I lean back in my seat, closing my eyes to rest. I sigh, failing to rest any and looking out of the window again. We're about to pass over an island, or perhaps a peninsula. It's covered by trees, though part of it seems to have empty fields. There's a large, snowy mountain. That's about all I can see, the island looks uninhabited. I look around me, smiling when I see the boy sound asleep against his father's arm, and the father take a book from the table in front of his son.

Suddenly the plane jolts, shaking. Everyone seems to try to buckle in, as do I. No announcements are made; the pilots are probably too busy trying to control the plane. It's just minor turbulence, right? No, this is more than that. I look out of the window again, seeing the island below coming closer to the plane. We're going down. The plane crashes into the ground below – at least we missed the trees. Suddenly the plane is jolted hard, as if it's come to a stop, hitting my head against the seat in front of me, making me pass out.

I wake up a bit, looking around me. I see a man, painted in red, in the aisle-way. He picks up the boy that was just lying against his father before the crash, seeing the father hopelessly try to crawl towards them to save their son. I try to move, but I have no energy to do so. Everything goes black again as they walk away.
