Seth as a little boy was like most, carefree, kind, and fun loving. But the only ones to enjoy those qualities were his parents, and his trainer. Other villagers, adults and children alike were taught to hate Seth for the myths that his soul was not of his own. Deep down he was from somewhere else. All because of his deep red eyes.

He was tortured everyday by the other children and even adults from all over the entire village. Throughout his young life was ostracized from everything by the village officials. Though, Seth's breaking point to his torment was a day long ago.

He found a cute girl. Her name was Annabelle. She was beautiful, and Seth wasn't the only one who thought that. Every boy wanted to be her friend. Seth was the first to ask. He decided to give her a red rose picked from his mother's garden. His father always to seth to be direct. He caught her walking home, that was his first mistake.

"Hey Annabelle?" he tapped her lightly on the shoulder.

When she turned seth almost saw a hit of fear behind her eyes. Eike was his trainer. He always said that Seth was his best fighter, in any weapon. Seth was determined to show everyone that he wasn't a freak. Sadly seth and Eike had to train in secret, if anyone found out that Eike was training seth how to fight, then everyone who think Eike was trying to rebel.

"Yes?" Her eyes showed fear and confusion, even though her smile was friendly. Even at a young age of ten, Seth can see the true feelings of people just by looking at their eyes. He can tell if they are lying or not, if they are scared, happy or angry.

Seth revealed the roes for behind his back, "I was wondering if you want to be friends?" He handed her the rose and she dropped it immediately. The thorns of the rose have pricked her hand and it was bleeding badly.

Seth reacted quickly, "Quick, put you hand in your mouth!" To Seth's surprise she didn't do as told and instead, she ran away screaming the 'demon is true!'

Everyone around laugh and shouted awful things.

"Monster!"

"Freak!''

"Devil!''

Then they started to throw all sorts of things at him. Rocks, sticks, even old food. He couldn't take it any more. He ran, and ran. He ran until his legs gave out and he found himself deep in the woods. He cried and cried, small mud pools were forming.

"What did I do to deserve this? Just because my eyes are red!" Seth the slammed his hand hard on the dirt, creating a small crater bigger than he expected.

"You're different." A deep voice spoke.

"And?"

"Being different means you are not like them. And people hate when you're not like them." Seth then felt a touch on his shoulder, when he looked up there was a shadowy figure standing above him. Seth sniffed a sob. And through crackly voice he spoke,

"But that doesn't make any sense. I'm the same as everyone else, right?"

"Look at that crater you created. You are stronger than you think, faster. You are different." Seth looked down at the crater. It was bigger than a normal ten year old would make, and Eike always said that Seth is achieving higher then most students. "I could train you for five years. But after those five years, you will chose your own path. What do you say?"

Seth was split. Go back to his village, where he can be with his mother and father and get bullied just for being different, or train with someone who doesn't judge him. The decision was hard, but the answer was clear, "I'll go."
