Akatsuki x Reader - Pocky Challenge (Oneshots)

Itachi

"..." Itachi appears out of nowhere, resting his body on the wall.

"Whaaa-? When did you get here?!" You turned around to see Itachi Uchiha. He wasn't there a minute ago.

You and Itachi, never really talked that much before or ever. He was always distant from every member in your group. He is your big senpai, but never really called him that. Because you wanted him to acknowledge you. So in his presence, you always try to act cool. You thought that Itachi was one of the strongest Akatsuki members, after Pein. He always looked cool when the breeze blew his raven hair and he neatly brushes it backwards. Kisame said that he killed his whole clan to protect his village. You didn't want to sound harsh nor mean, but you thought what he did was irrelevant. But despite that, you always took a good look at Itachi, even in his training. You emedietly fell in love with his genjutsu and you wanted to do as well as him.

Itachi walks towards you with the same emotionless smile he always carries around him. You didn't know what to do or say.

"U-uhm! I mean, sir!" You extended your arm and lifted it back up. Your hand on your forehead. You greeted Itachi like soldiers greet their captains/dictators.

"..." He just blankly looks at you.

You embarrassed yourself infront of your idol. Good job...👏

"Now then..." Pein exclaimed as he looks at both of us. "Y/N-kun, you will accompany Itachi on his mission right now after you leave the hideout..."

"Where are we going?" You asked.

Itachi turns to you.

"We are going to find the 8-tailed jinjuriki, Master Killer B..." Itachi exclaimed. "Does that name seem familiar to you?"

Your face was full of shock. You look down, sad.

"P-Pein I- I think I'll pass on this mission..."

"I'm afraid you can't, Y/N-kun..." Pein said. "You know Master B's moves more than anyone else here. Your speed and agility will come in use, too..."

"I understand..." You didn't argue with Pein. Because you knew that if you declined, he would start a riot with you. So you just nod slowly.

"Leader Pein..." Itachi speaks up. "Why doesn't Hidan come with me instead? I know that it must be difficult for Y/N to do this..."

"Itachi-senpai..." Your eyes sparkle in disbelief. He defended you.

"No. If Y/N-kun wants to be in the Akatsuki, she must prove herself that she is heartless towards previous comrades..." He looks at me with his amethyst colored eyes.

"Alright..." Itachi spoke for both of you.

You follow him outside the hideout and start walking; Heading towards a Lightning village.

"Y/N..." Says Itachi. This was the second time he ever said it.

"Y-yes?!" You said nervously. You didn't know how to act in front of your role model.

He looks back.

"Who is this, Killer B? If you tell me about his abilities, we might have the advantage..."
