Part Two.

"Sabi na nga ba susunod ka eh"- Echo

Si Echo, bat gising pa sya?

"Tara?" he tap the swing beside him. Naglakad ako palapit sa pwesto nya.  I cannot help to check him out. He is not wearing his blue long sleeves anymore, naka dirty white sweatshirt partnered with black sweatpants sya.

I sat beside him, he smiled at me then he look up. He is looking at the moon. The moon that the the only thing that gives us light.

"Bat... bat gising ka pa?"

"Same with you."  huh?

"Gutom ka rin?"

He laugh a little. "Siguro, hindi kasi ako makatulog."

Tabi ka sakin sa kama if you want. Pero syempre di ko masasabi yun!

"Ahh, namamahay ka siguro"

Lumingon sya sakin, "Hmm? Namamahay, ata. First time ko lang din naman sumama sa ganito. Kaya I feel uneasy."

Tumango ako, napatingin ako sa hawak nya. Bat dalawa?

"Gusto mo?" Inalok nya sakin yung isang  Ice cream cup. I don't like sweets. Kaso nakakahiya naman. Si Jericho na yang nag-alok oh! Hahaha

"Th-thank you."-me. Inabot ko yung ice cream .

"Your welcome." here we go again, he gave me a smile, just a half smile. Shet, I think this is my favorite smile sa lahat ng smile na meron sya. He just look so chic with that.

I take a bite para mawala sa isip ko yung smile nyang mas sweet pa dito sa vanilla ice cream. "Dalawa talaga yung kinuha ko sa fridge kasi nakita kita kanina."

"Pa-paano pala kung hindi kita sinundan dito?"

Nakatuon lang mukha nya sa ice cream, "Hmm?" he took a small bite, "I didn't think about that. Pero siguro iiwanan ko na lang dito if ever."

Hindi man lang nya naisip na kainon na lang din. "Ahh, mabuti na lang pala sumunod ako dito. Kung hindi nagsayang ka pa ng pagkain."

Lumingon sya sakin, "Mabuti na lang nandito ka."

"Bat pala ice cream yung kinuha mo?"

"I want something to drink para makatulog agad, pero wala akong mahanap."

"Eto may coke ako dito kung gusto mo."
Inalok ko sa kanya yung coke na hindi ko pa naiinuman.He just answered with a smile. Ano baaa!

"Nahh, thanks pero I'll just stick with ice cream. Baka di pa ko makatulog lalo dahil sa coke."

"ahh, haha sige. Sabagay may kasama naman milk yung ice cream kaya pwede na rin." I didn't notice that I took a big bite. Ouch! Brain freeze! Arrghh

Silence

Nakakabingi yung katahimikan. We just ate our ice creams quietly. Mag isip ka Tria ng magandang topic! Bilis! Bilis!!

"Ahh! May Nova pala ako dito, gusto mo?"

Inabot ko sa kanya yung Nova, bunuksan naman nya then, "Wow, ice cream and chips. Nice combination." He said na natatawa.

"Haha, wala na kasi akong makitang iba."

"Thank you."-Echo

We just eat again, no one tried to talk. We just enjoy the view and the ambiance. Masyadong nakakarelax. Siguro nga small talks never aid awkwardness. It is just how the people deal with it.

After some peaceful minutes, he stood up and pick all of our junks. "Tara na?" tumango ako at tumayo na rin. Tinapon muna nya sa trashbin yung basura bago kami maglakad pa balik.
