Maverick was waiting quietly under the veranda for his sister, he had a scowl on his face, as it was raining. There was a clap of thunder, Maverick jumped, being deathly afraid of thunder. He stepped away from the edge and walked inside, and yelled to his sister "hurry up, I don't want to be here with all the thunder any longer!"
Once Alexia finally made her way down the stairs, Maverick rolled his eyes and walked out, Alexia close behind. Maverick ran through the rain hood up to his car, slamming the car door after he jumped in. Alexia on the other hand walked calmly through the rain, glancing up at the clouds, and opened the car door and slowly shut it behind her.
Maverick glanced at Alexia after rubbing his arms to warm himself, he whispered to her, "what are we gonna do when we get there?" All she did was shrug and pull out her phone. Rolling his eyes Maverick turned on the car and began driving.
They were headed toward their new school, Vandlo's academy, it was for shuvihanó and shuvihani, which are Gypsy Witches and Warlocks.
Many people think it's just a boarding school, but it's full of gypsies practicing magic, and creatures of all sorts learning how to use their powers.
Maverick was a descendent of powerful, Shuviani and a type of creature that was far more in tune with magic, they had been called skeletons, because they looked like, well skeletons.
Alexia was descendent of Shuviani and Wolves. But besides the biologically the two were twins, even had the same birthday, so to most they were twins.

After they pulled up to the school Mavericks eyes gleamed a bright purple, as not only were skeletons disliked by gypsys in general but hybrids were hated by most, the only reason that they were allowed to the school was because the principal liked hybrids, and was happy to let them attend. Alexia saw Mavericks glowing eyes and calmly whispered "we'll be fine."
Maverick looked at her and nodded, as they hopped out of the car they received glances, some indifferent, others scowls fuelled by hatred.
They quickly made their way to the office, where they collected their time tables, while still receiving scowls, and left. They made their way to their home room, when they got there they were greeted by a grumpy fortune teller, who told them to sit in the back so they wouldn't corrupt the other students, at this point Maverick's eyes were glowing bright and fierce, irritated by the scowls and mistreatment, the teacher saw this and said "you dare glow you're eyes at me!?" They glared at each other for a bit until the teacher told them to leave, which Maverick did gladly, Alexia rolled her eyes and left with her brother. While standing in the hallway, a group of obviously upper class shuvihanó walked up and one said "hybrids huh?" Maverick, and Alexia both readied themselves for a fight, and that is exactly what happened next.

One of the boys shot fire at them, Maverick, used his specialty in water magic to stop it, while Alexia readied her life magic for an attack, but before she could the teacher walked out and saw Maverick in skeletal form with water flowing around him, and Alexia in wolf form, summoning orbs of life, immediately launching fire at Alexia, but was caught of guard after Mavericks water blocked the fire and launched at her, stopping just before impact. Maverick withdrew his attack and returned to his human form, as did Alexia. Glaring at the teacher Maverick stomped away, followed by Alexia, they made their way to the principals office.
Alexia knocked quietly, the lady on the other side told them to enter, when they did they were greeted by Lady Lena, the principal of the school, noticing Mavericks glowing eyes she became instantly concerned, asking "what happened?" Alexia answered by telling her what happened knowing Maverick wasn't comfortable with talking much, even with people from the family, hearing the story Lady Lena turned to her computer and started typing, after a bit she said "I've moved you two into an all creature class, so we'll see how that goes." She handed a timetable to Alexia as they only needed one as they were in all the same classes, they quickly left walking toward the creature side of the school, Alexia had grown irritated by how the humans and creatures were split into different end of the school, but pushed it to the back of her mind and decided to turn wolf to fit into the creature class, as maverick noticed he too turned into his creature form. When they finally got to the class they entertained to see the teacher was human and all the creatures were in their human forms, confused Alexia stared at them, then looked to the teacher, who looked displeased with the two new students, the first thing he said was "before you enter my class please change your form, I will not have creature forms in my class." Maverick stepped in front of Alexia and spoke in a mumble "then why teach creatures?" The teacher was obviously angered by this, spoke in almost a roar "so I can teach you freaks how wrong your existence is!" Alexia sighed before anything else, then the entire class were beginning to get up in case they had to run as Maverick had just summoned both intense streaks of water and shadows, and a skeletal animal skull with bright purple eyes just like Maverick himself. He then spoke again in a mumble "I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that, could you say it again?" With his head tilted to the side and his demonic skeletal smile being the only visible thing on his face other than his glowing eyes. From behind him he heard a scream, he swiftly turned to see his sister fallen to the ground with a human standing behind her with his hand raised. Rage urged through his body as he fired his shadows at the boy to constrict him, rushing to his sisters aid he began healing her with his water magic. The students rushed over to help swiftly turning to creatures and pushing the now gathering humans away from the door, and fending off the ones that tried attacking, Maverick and Alexia made their way out and too their car with the help of the other creature students, when they made it they hopped in and Maverick immediately started driving off. When they reached their home they walked in and Maverick whispered "well at least we tried this time.." hinting at the fact that this was almost the 9th time they had, had to leave a school because of humans, Alexia chuckled at his comment, half heartedly, knowing that they really did need to find another school, but before they could there was a knock on the door, Alexia walked over to answer it and when she did she was greeted by two very tall, Nekos, when the door opened the shouted in unison "Hello we're Xilya and Ker! Lady Lena sent us to check on you!" From behind Alexia they heard a crash, when they looked they saw Maverick on the floor looking like he'd had a heart attack, with bits of o case around him, Alexia just sighed and said "great now we have to get a new vase..." then turned back to the twins with a slightly angry face, that looked like she was about to snap and eat them alive, and politely spoke to them "if you ever yell like that with him in earshot ever again you're both dead, ok?" The two slightly coward away from her and nodded quickly, "good, now what do you want?" She asked, the two told her quickly and quietly told her what they were doing at their home, and Alexia said "well tell her we're fine but I don't think we will be coming back, now good bye." With that she closed the door quietly as Maverick was still on the floor starring at the door. Alexia walked over to him, and helped him up too his room, then returned to her own.

Imma leave it like that... please tell me if the plot went from 1 too 100 too quickly. I have a history of making things escalate far too quickly... and this was just introducing the characters on the surface, the next chapter will be their underground personas.
