(A/N: WARNING: YOU WILL DIE FROM THE CUTENESS OF THIS)
Bing sat next to Google in a tree, watching the rain patter against the branches. "don't you just love nature...?" he asked Google, observing brightly-colored flowers on the ground with curiosity. "Love..? What is... love?" Google asked softly, gently pulling a leaf off of a branch above him. Rain water splashed from the branch as the leaf came off, some getting on Googles glasses. Bing smiled softly, taking Google's glasses and drying them off with the hem of his yellowish shirt. "Love is... empathy. truthfulness. a deep feeling of compassion for a person or thing." he placed the glasses back on the other robot's face. "and i didn't have to look that up-"
"It sounds.. nice.... could you possibly give an example of- 'love'? I want to know what it's like..." Google said smiling, adjusting his glasses a little. He looked down at his hands, as he played with the leaf he picked, gently tearing it up into small pieces. "hmm...." Bing hummed quietly. "i don't know if it's shown as much as felt,"
"Oh... is there ways of showing love?" Google asked, looking up at Bing as he threw the pieces of the leaf. "affection..." Bing sighed lightly. he'd actually have to show Google how love works. "kisses, cuddling, minimal fighting, jokes, laughter, even worry for each other... anything along those lines."
"Ah, so... if I kissed you, that would mean I love you?" Google asked. Bing blushed, stumbling over his words a little. "uh- n-not if you didn't mean it-" Google reached up for another leaf, but accidently fell backwards off the branch him and Bing were sitting on. He landed on his back in the wet grass, giggling. Bing grabbed for Google, missing, and falling himself. he yelped as he hit the ground, the impact temporarily messing up his hard drive. he recovered quickly, adding; "well that was an ordeal and a half-"
"Yep" Google said, still giggling. He reached for a flower, and carefully picked it. Google then handed the flower to Bing, smiling. "For you" Bing sat up, criss-crossing his legs and smiling. "thanks." he accepted the flower gratefully. Google sat up as well, and picked another flower. He pulled out the petals one by one, throwing them, and watching as the petals softly fluttered to the ground. "Your welcome" Google said, as he threw the last petal that was on the flower. Bing made the ^-^ face, watching the world around him. becoming lost in the scent, sounds, and scenery. it was just lovely. 'especially Google,' Bing thought to himself, knowing that mind-reading wasn't one of Google's traits. "Hey Bing..? How do you know if your in love with someone?" Google asked. "hm?" he hummed, snapping out of his daze. "oh--... well... you feel a certain... longing for them. you care. a whole lot. no matter what they do or say, you can't get them out of your mind." 'I can't get Bing out of my head... I... I think I love him... do I tell him or-' Google thought, not knowing if Bing had the ability to read minds or not. "Oh... thanks for telling me I guess.." Google replied softly, blushing lightly at his own thoughts. Bing laughed lightly. "it's... really weird" he scrunched his nose at 'weird'. "it's like..... i dunno. it's hard to explain any further than that." "Hmm..." Google kept thinking, trying to figure out his thoughts. As he kept thinking, his thoughts became more jumbled, twisting into impossible knots, but through the mess of thoughts one thought was un-tangelable. The fact that Google loved Bing. The rest, were practically un-known. "what'cha thinkin' 'bout?" Bing asked in a childish manner, a smile plastered on his face. "N-nothing..." Google said, picking yet another flower, just to tear the petals off, one by one. "the flower ripping and troubled expression beg to differ," Bing moved closer to Google, the kid-like tone gone from his voice. "what's goin' on?" "The.. the love thing..." Google said quietly, looking up at Bing. Bing hummed a response. "that was quick-"
"What..?" Google asked, slightly confused. "you only got curious about thirty minutes and fifty seconds ago," Bing shrugged. "but, you do tend to learn fast."
"Yeah... I just can't figure out my feelings anymore..."
"i understand," Bing tapped his forehead. "'s a bit of a jumble up here sometimes, too."
"The thing is though, there's one thought that stands out from the rest...." Google looked up at the sky. "mmhm?" Bing replied, picking a flower and examining it, even looking into it's chemical compounds. he found it odd that galaxies in space look a lot like the nuclei of cells. "I just.... I....." Google stumbled on his words, not even knowing how to speak anymore. Bing glanced up at the slightly flustered robot, smiling. "who is it?"
"I... l-love you...." Google said softly. Bing raised his eyebrows, a light pink dusting his cheeks. "not what i was expecting-" Bing replied. Google blushed out of nervousness, thinking he fucked everything up. He looked down, putting his face in his hands. "hey," Bing said, laughing a little. he moved Googles hands away from his face. "i love you, too,"
"Y-you do?" Google asked, looking at Bing again. Bing's smile widened, and with bright eyes, he leaned over and kissed Google. "i do." Google smiled, blushing slightly. He didn't know what to say. Bing smiled, returning partial attention back to the flower. The sun started to set. Google watched as the sky went from a light blue to a beautiful array of pastel colors. Pinks, purples, oranges and reds filled the sky. He stood up and carefully climbed back up the tree that him and Bing were sitting in before, hoping to get a better view. Bing noticed when Google started to move, glancing at the sky. he smiled, carefully following Google. when he got near the other robot, he gave a mischievous look that read: race me, and he began climbing faster. Google climbed up faster as well, soon catching up to Bing. he giggled, and the branches began to thin out. he chose a sturdy-looking bough, sitting on it and declaring "i win!!" loudly. Google rolled his eyes, giggling, as he reached the branch that Bing was sitting on. He sat close to Bing, and watched the sun set again. Bing smiled, resting his head on Google's shoulder. "so how's life been...?" he asked softly. "Good, but its even better now" Google said smiling, putting an arm around Bing. Bing laughed lightly. instead of an awkward silence, a warm quiet settled over them like a blanket, that soon made Bing fall asleep. As the sun finally fully set, the stars started to appear. The sky was clear, and completely filled with stars. The black, star filled canvas with lightly splashed with different variations of blues, purples, and dark pinks, representing different galaxies. "Isn't space amazing?" Google said softly, looking up at the sky. "hm?" Bing hummed, lifting his head for a moment."oh. yea," he replied groggily, snuggling into Google and falling back asleep. Google shook Bing lightly, and because of this, fell out of the tree again. He screamed when he fell, landing on his back in the grass once again. Bing jerked awake as Google fell. after a short moment he chuckled lightly and put his face in his hands. "ya gotta be more careful!" "Whatever-" Google said, giggling again. "You were falling asleep, so I was trying to wake you up so we could go inside" "sure, an adrenaline rush'll help me sleep," Bing laughed, picking his way down the tree. he offered Google a hand up. "need help?"
"Sure-" Google said, taking Bings hand. Instead of standing up though, he pulled Bing down on top of him. Google started laughing. Bing giggled, stumbling forward and falling as he was pulled. he soothed hair out of Google's face and kissed the robot. "we're not sleeping out here-"
"I know we're not. I just wanted to do that, so I could do this-" Google said, getting up. "Catch me if ya can!!" He yelled, running inside. "ah!" Bing laughed, scrambling to catch up with Google. "hey!!"
"Hahahahaha you can't catch me!!" Google teased, running upstairs. Bing tripped halfway up the stairs, nearly falling. "Google!" he yelled, still laughing loudly. "Hurry up ya turtle!" Google said as he jumped into his bed, accidentally rolling into the wall. "I'm okay!" He yelled. Bing laughed, flopping next to Google after running in. he panted lightly. "....it's really hard to run and laugh at the same time," he declared after a short period of time. "True" Google got under the blankets, running a hand through his blue floof. Bing smiled. "well that was fun."
"It was fun..." Google sat up, the blankets still covering his legs. He held Bing close, smiling. Bing snuggled against Google. his eyelids were becoming heavy. "love you,"
"I love you too" Google said as he gave Bing a kiss on the forehead. He shifted slightly to get a little more comfortable, and soon fell asleep. Bing watched Google fall asleep before powering down himself.
