Later that day I was in my room reading when I heard my phones ringtone (one thng by one direction) going off. I picked up to read who was calling me and it was my boyfriend Harry.
"Hey" I answerd.
"Hey Zoe guess what!!!" Harry is always excited to tell me everything.
"Haha what is it this time?"
"I just got invited to a cruise ship to the Bermuda Triangle!" he practically yelled in the phone.
All I was thinking in my head was 'Yay Harry's going too!!!' "OMG! So did my dad and me! Are you going to go??" I asked excitedly.
"Well I want to, but my mom says that moneys tight right now so she can't pay for it if its a scam" I could hear the dissapointment in his voice. Harry is a total history finatic and he's always wanted to go to the Bermuda Triangle.Then I got an idea.
"Hey Harry will you hold on a sec'?"
"Yeah sure" I put down the phone and ran downstairs to go find my dad and just as I turned to go to the kitchen. SMACK!
I hit the ground. I ran right into my dad. He was kiling himself laughing and helped me up. I told him about the Harry situation.
"I could take and pay for him if its ok with Carol" My dad said
"YAY! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! Love you daddy!" I ran back upstairs and picked up my phone and told Harry the results of my little mission that just happened.
"What!? Are you serious Zoe?!" harry asked
"Totally serious Harry"
"Tell your dad I said thank you times a million!"
"Haha will do"
"Alright well I'm gunna go pack"
"Alright I'm gunna go to"
"Hey Zoe?"
"Yeah Harry?"
"I love you" Then he hung up. I was so shocked that's the first time he said he loved me. Harry's a really shy guy. It took him forever to ask me out. Probably because we've known each other since I was born, and he didnt want to screw up our friendship. Harry is a year older then me.
Our mothers have been best friends with each other since high school and always stuck with each other. They were closer then sisters and were inseparable. Until about a year ago, my mother was murdered. My dad, Carol (Harry's mom) and I were heart broken, I'm still heart broken. Harry was there for me the whole time and still is he would never leave my side and I'm so greatful for that I'm not alone. This is when we first started connecting, from there on we went to friends to best friends then into a relationship.
I went downstairs to get my suitcase from the garage, but on my way there I noticed something on the floor. Someone had slipped and envelope underneath the door. I bent daown and picked it up, It had my name printed on it in dripping red paint. I franctically turned it over and opened it. I took out the paper, it was an old newspaper article that looked like it had been saved from a fire. It tells of a man who was arrested for killing 13 people. I have no idea why someone would give this to me. I put it on my kitchen counter and made a mental note to ask my dad about it later.
I went back upstairs to my room and started to pack my suitcase. I'm so excited! I can't wait till the cruise. I get to spend so much time with Harry. We'll probably be alone most of the time 'cause my dad will probably be sleeping, lol he sleeps 24 hours a day. I finished packing and I crawled into bed and called Harry to say goodnight like we always do.
"Hello?" Harry asked sounding all cute and tired.
"Hey it's me I just called to say goodnight" I said
"Haha I was just about to do the same." I could hear the smile in his voice.
"Well goodnight and I'll see you tomorrow when you come over!" I replied
"Ok goodnight I love you."
"I love you too" I hung up and plugged my phone in. I switched on the TV 'Worlds Dumbest' was on i screamed for my dad "Dad 'Worlds Dumbest is on get your butt in here!!" it only took him 10 seconds to get to my room. My dad and I do this every night we watched 'Worlds dumbest' then we go to bed when its done. After an hour of our show he said goodnight and left my room. I went and opened my window to let the cool summer air leak into my room. I crawled into my bed feeling exhusted and curled up in my blankets. I can't wait for tomorrow.
