Liam's POV

7 months later

I was really stressed out. Kate was due any day now. A girl. We were having a girl. I decorated her room with covers of Disney movies and Batman.

My thoughts were interrupted with a noise. It sounded like a popped water balloon. What in the hell is Kate doing with a water balloon?

I hear a whimper and a thump. I run to the other room and find Kate laying in a puddle of...water? She's crying and clutching her stomach.

"L-Liam c-call the h-h-hospital."

I grab the phone and pound 999 (in England it's like 911).

"999, what's your emergency?"

"My wife, she's in labor." I tell the woman on the other end.

"Stay calm sir, we're tracking your location right now. Would you like me to stay on the phone with you?" she asks.

"I can't i need to comfort my wife."

"Help is on the way." and with that, she disconnects.

I crawl over to Kate. She's squeezing her eyes shut. Then I notice something. There's blood on the floor.

"Kate? Kate, c'mon stay with with me baby." I grab her hand. She's squeezing it so hard I feel like its gonna fall off.

The blood on the floor is spreading.

"Hey, don't hold it in. It's only gonna make things worse." I tell her referring to the baby.

She doesn't. Blood is everywhere. Oh my god, Liam. Don't look or you're gonna be sick.

"Push, just push ok. I'm right here. I-I'm right here."

"It hurts." she's crying. I hug her close to my chest. If I could take her pain, I would.

I can do this.

I get up and carry her to a clean spot.

Oh my god, I just need to pull myself together.

I know she's pushing. I position my self and get ready to help her, well, give birth.

10 minutes later

I've never seen anything so beautiful.

Amelia Danielle Payne.

The name of the little girl in my arms, who looks just like her mother.

Finally, the ambulance shows up, although its to late now.

She's gone.
