The following weeks were strange for me. I saw them and knew they were there, but stopped trying to get them to transform. Stopped trying to meet them. I mean... why? If they're so horrible as Don said, they would just squish me. Right?

Don didn't stop and continued to search for information. He found some people who claimed they had seen them and had more information. He told them what he knew, but that was mostly what I saw. He hasn't seen them. I finally got mad and told him to stop. I don't want people looking for me. But it was too late.

One day when I got home I saw some black vans out front. Government. I hesitated and decided to pretend I didn't live there. I started driving carefully away but it was too late. Ellie was out front and pointed at me.

'Thanks a lot.' I thought as the men walked over. They told me to get out, I sighed forcefully before parking the car and getting out.

"What seems to be the problem?" I asked as I forced a smile. They looked at me skeptically then walked me to the house.

"We have a few questions." One man said seriously. They led me inside and I saw Don sitting on the couch as he hung his head. Ellie sat by him but seemed pretty upset. She was whispering to him about how dumb he was being.

I saw a man in a suit and tie looking at some pictures. The ones we collected. I didn't see my book anywhere but saw they were going through his computer. I didn't like how these people were going through everything.

"Are you in charge?" I asked the man in the suit. He looked at me and furrowed his brow.

"Yes. Are you Winter Jenkins?" He asked and walked over. I hesitated then nodded slowly as I looked at the others.

"Is there anyone else in this household?" He asked and looked at the other two.

"No and I have nothing to do with any of this!" Ellie said as her voice raised.

"Calm down ma'am. We're just going to take you to our headquarters and ask a few questions." He said seriously. We didn't say anything and he led us off to their van.

Ellie was livid and getting mad at Don the whole way. She said it was his fault and I finally told her to shut up.

Once at the base they had, we were each taken to different rooms for questioning. I was alone for a long time. I decided if I got out of this alive, I would probably leave the state. I mean they'd make me.

Time passed as I sat in the dark room, arms folded. Someone found out that I knew about the robots, and told them. I don't know how. The man walked in and I glared at him. He just looked at me and proceeded to ask me questions. Not sure. I wasn't listening.

He said his name was Agent Fowler, told me something about the robots I was taking pictures of. Eventually he stopped and told me my life could be in danger. Then he said to be safe he wanted to put me with a team of some sort.

"Do you want to meet them?" He asked.

"Meet who?" I asked not moving from my position.

"Team Prime. Weren't you listening?" He said.

"To be honest.... No. Do I want to meet the giant robots? No." I said seriously.

"Why not? Just curious." He said looking at me skeptically. I leaned forward and set my arms on the desk.

"Agent Fowler. Lets say you're on a safari tour and you're taking pictures of the lions. The guide asks if you want to meet them in person. What would you say?" I said. He gave me a puzzled look.

"I'd say no and he's crazy." He replied. I leaned back in my chair and folded my arms again.

"That's my answer." I said as I glared. "Why would I want to meet something that could kill me?" I asked. The room was silent for a few minutes and he furrowed his brow.

"You don't understand the seriousness of the situation. These... robots you've been taking pictures of have enemies that will harm you." He said seriously.

"I haven't been harmed yet." I said and folded my arms again. "I don't want to see these things close up." I mumbled.

"This... this isn't like a zoo." He growled and stood up. "You can't be at a distance and expect everything to be okay." He muttered and looked at some paperwork.

"I won't breathe a word to anyone." I said seriously. "Can I go now?" I asked as I watched him quietly. He sighed forcefully and had me sign a few things before letting me go.

I wish I could say thing got better after that. I wish I could say I never saw them again and they left me alone.

But then I'd be lying.
