An awkward silence
Wynter looked up after the tears stoped coming. She tapped his chest because he had his eyes closed. She didnt know what to say or do in this moment.
Aden looked down at her and let her go realizing she was done. He was not sure what else he could have done. He knew how it felt to lose someone you loved, his little sister had past away shortly after her 7th birthday.
Wynter looked in her mirror. She would have to fix her make up before she went to class. She knew they were late so she just drove to the school and parked where she normally did. She turned her car off and got out.
Aden was into class befor she could even blink. Go figure Mr. honor student late to school for the first time in his life. She walked into the bathroom to fix her make-up befor entering her 3rd period class. The teachers would understand. She was late at least 2 or 3 times each week.
Aden wondered as he took notes and scrambled to get the papers from his 2 other morning classes if anyone else knew. Was Wynter suffering this loss all alone? From what he knew she didnt have an friends at this school. Not even some one to eat lunch with. Was she having a hard time? Why was he thinking so much about this girl? Its not like before last night he even took a second look at her.
The boy began to feel bad as he looked back on how he treated her in the past. Making fun of her long hair and her clothes. He knew she had money so he always told her she should shop like she was rich not homeless.
Wynter took few notes and began to hate herself for the weakness she showed before a human boy. She was after all a majestic and beautiful cat and not some weak human. She walked around this school only because he parents had wanted her to learn of the human world. Mom had always told her to be wise and weary when dealing with humans.
"Learn from them but do not forget who you are my little kitten." she would smile when she said that.
Kitten? Mom would smile at the powerful cat she had become. Still smaller then her father but equal in size to her mom. She wanted to badly to just walk away from the human world, to turn her back on that part of herself, to become the wild animal she was told never to become. She stayed waiting for school to end so she could go home and leave this place till spring break was done. 2 weeks to herself and kujo. She couldnt wait.
The bell rang and she picked up her back pack and filled it with the papers she had used today. Walking out to her car she noticed the boys and girls who had plans swarm around each others cars. Aden was no exception. They held eye contact for a breif moment untill she looked away. She couldnt talk to him. Not know.
