"Meg? Meg are you in there?"

"Go away" I told Olivia. I know I should treat my best friend with more respect but at this moment that was about Number 168th on my list of things to worry about.

I heard room 307's squeaky door open softly and felt Livy's hazel blue eyes trained on me. She sat down, the bed sinking as she did.

She slid her hand into mine and I lay my head on her lap, looking up at her with a sad expression.

I rubbed my balled up fists against my red eyes that were still puffy and wet.

"Hey" She whispered, "What Happened last night?".

I shrugged looking away and forcing my emotions to leave.

"Your fathers de-" Her voice cracked, "Dead".

I came in through my dorm window at 5am last night covered in dirt, crying with a bag full of guns, food and explosives.

I hadnt asked for it any of it.

Of course Livy was wondering what happened last night.

I remembered last nights events.

My Dad left for an urgent meeting in Paris, leaving me alone for the night.

But he never came home and then I heard a knock on the door.

I spun around. Then looked back at the TV I had thrown a Katana in it and broken the coffee table, its glass was still impaled in my hand.

I glanced at the security camera display. A group of black men were standing outside the door.

CIA. What the fuck did they want.

I ran down the basement stairs hearing the faint noise of the front door being rammed open. Selfish losers.

I hit the red button on the way to the bunker, trading my bunny slippers for a pair of red converse and grabbing my school bag.

The metal door to my Dad's bunker slammed behind me and I ran through the maze of deadly weapons.

What could be useful?

A pistol. Frag grenade. Night vision goggles. Toothpaste. A knife pack. A first aid kit.

By the time I reached the far wall my bag was stuffed full of useful shit.

I heard my name being shouted and I looked over at the camera set once more.

Burn in hell assholes.

I pushed on the big manhole cover leading to the field next to our house.

I smelled the fresh air. Only the car headlights in the road near me and the lights in the house behind me were visable. I pulled the remote out of my pocket.

One press and it'd be gone. I looked back one last time before I pressed it.

The house burst into flames.

Suddenly a vibration came from my left pocket.

I pulled out my phone and stared at the text I had just got.

Your Dad's dead.

It was from Livy.

I sank to the ground, a tear rolling down my cheek.

"Meg? Meg?"

I turned but no-one was there. I was alone.

Then I felt a cold slap against my cheek.

I screamed, then everything went black.
