Don't Distress

Distress is everywhere. We don't get along well. I've either gotten good and hiding from it or running from it. I do what I can but it has the nose of a bloodhound and manages to find me. We fight and it gets heated. It rarely bests me but some times the fight comes close.

When one is at war with them self, who should they turn to for back up?

The troops in your army are scattered around you on all sides.

When we are demented, where should we seek asylum?

Among thoes that have walked the same line as we walk now. Among those that will gladly walk it again with us.

When we fall off track what will be our Adderall?

Prescriptions given by those that know what and what doesn't work.

If you haven't gathered by now, I'm talking about depression. We all go through this war, sometimes we can win without any soldiers. But know who and where your army is. We all need places to let us in to rest and heal from our battles. If you look for an open door you will find one. If what you are currently taking isn't working, find another doctor.

My army is my friends and family. My asylum is the many places where I feel loved. My Adderall, my drug, is music and literature.

Wow this is starting to sound really pretentious. You get what I'm trying to convey though right?
