Birthday (Part 2)

When we arrived at 221B my mum's car was parked there. I was going to explode about how I try so much to please her now she's here probably spoiling my birthday.

"Why is my mum here?" I ask as Sherlock and I walk up the creaking steps

"Hm" He says and I don't want to go to the flat and face my mum she irratated me so much.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Everyone shouted as I jumped I smile and look at everyone but his image was burning inside my head.

"Veronica?" Molly is shaking my arm

I realise I have blocked everyone out but I resume being silent

My mindpalace was invaded by Moriarty his smirking face and I myself shivering in fear of never leaving him in my mind no one is going to leave. 

"I need help" I scream but no one heard did I say that in my mind or in life? I was losing my mind me being back at 221B could save me or lose me equally. John got up from the couch because I knew he was shaking me gently.

"Sherlock" John said Moriarty was smiling at me in that dark room in my mind I kept blinking and shaking my head trying to escape but it wouldn't go away.

"Help me" I feel my lips speak and John is looking at me

"What what happened?" He asks tell me he is stroking my hair

"John, he is controlling my thoughts I can't think properly why?"

"He is everywhere" Sherlock says moving towards the window looking at buildings

"Sweetheart let's just enjoy your birthday here" My mum brought me a piece of cake

"Thanks" I say rubbing my head I still didn't feel normal.

"Presents?" Aunt H asks

Sherlock rolls his eyes and is pacing back and forth; what was wrong with him its my birthday. He was messing with my mind making me hate everyone.

"Sure." I say and begin to cry

"Veronica? Why are you crying" John asks

"I don't know.." I say

"Sherlock"John says wiping tears from my cheeks

"No" I say looking at John and the rest of my family

"Veronica?" I run from the flat and out into the streets holding my head not looking back at the flat I realise I'm still running

but what am I running from? Where am I going?
