Legend tells of four heroes so powerful that they harnessed the souls of the ancient protectors.
Selena the summoner, Wilco the warrior, Melanie the mage, and Rufus the Ranger. They grouped together to defeat evil. They drove the evil out until only light remained. Then one day, a strange group appeared at the town of Terran, the leader of the group wearing blue and gold robes. They spoke in a unknown language, drawing power from the light. The guards told them to leave but they kept speaking in the unknown language. They summoned the protecters to get them to leave.
Instead, they dissolved into one being, blue smoke circling it. It spoke in a gravelly voice, rough and sharp.
This being was the embodiment of all evil. When the evil had retreated, it had consolidated into this being. Raising their weapons, the protectors prepared for battle. The Being Raised his hand, the power of a thousand moons surging through. The protectors, in one final action restored the power of the ancient protectors into pure energy, sending them out to find the next generation of protectors.
