Brad:
"Babe come on! You can finish your essay later" Brad begs, trying to get you to spend some time with him. Although you really want to give in, you know your school assignment is the main priority at the moment.
"I've got to finish this by tonight, Bradley" you say, shooing him away as you continue to type.
"And you will! But you've been at this for two hours now! I think it's time for a movie break, don't you?" He says, sitting down next to you on the couch and snuggling up to you.
"I'll watch a movie with you after I'm finished" you say, typing as you speak.
"And when will that be?" He asks, looking at you with wide eyes.
"Once I reach 5,000 words" you reply, trying hard not to look at him as you're a sucker for his big brown eyes.
"And how far along are you now?" He asks.
"I'm on my 2,988th word" you say, still not looking at him.
"Well hurry up and finish then!" He says.
"I'd be done if it weren't for you distracting me!" You say although Brad probably wasn't the reason why you weren't finished already considering you spent over half an hour procrastinating while watching YouTube videos.
"No, you'd be done if you stopped talking!" He says, laughing as if he'd made the funniest joke ever.
"Alright, I won't answer you when you talk to me then."
"Fine, if it'll get you to finish your assignment". He says.
You sit there in silence for a while, Bradley watching you as you type.
"So what're we eating tonight? Are we cooking or ordering take away?" He asks.
You try not to giggle as you take his advice, refusing to answer his question.
"(Y/N), why are you ignoring me?"
You don't reply.
"Alright then if that's how it's going to be" he says, getting up and grabbing his keys off the table before heading towards the door.
'He's not really going to leave', you think to yourself.
You watch him as he opens the door and steps out.
"Bradley!!" You yell, moving your laptop aside as you jump up and run to the door.
"Where do you think you're going?" You ask, standing in front of where he stands in the doorway with your hand on your hip.
"She talks!" He yells, throwing his hand up sarcastically.
"You told me to ignore you you dork" you say, rolling your eyes as you walk back to your spot on the couch before placing your laptop back on your lap and picking up where you left off.
"You're not done yet?" He asks, sighing as he sits down beside you again.
"You're kidding, right? You've been distracting me from this essay for TWO HOURS Bradley! Go find something to do wont you? I really need to finish this" you say, surprising yourself with your angry tone.
"Well alright then" Brad says, getting up from his spot to go upstairs and out of your way.
You feel bad about yelling at Bradley but you decide to take advantage of the peacefulness and finish your essay.
You finish the assignment about an hour later and Bradley is still upstairs.
You close your laptop and put it away before walking up the stairs and into the room that the two of you share.
When you open the door, you see Brad all curled up in bed, taking a nap.
You quickly grab your phone to snap a picture of the cute curly haired boy before laying down beside him and slowly falling asleep.
Connor:
"I told you already Connor!" you say, quickly becoming very frustrated with your boyfriend.
"I know, (Y/N) but I keep forgetting! Just tell me one more time why you have all this work to do?" he says, using his puppy dog eyes.
"Like I said a million times, my brother is ill and hasn't sent out all the emails he was meant to send for work so I've told him I'd do it for him! Do you have any more questions to ask me before I make you leave this room for distracting me?" You say, raising your eyebrows at him so he knows you're serious.
"Alright (Y/N) just one more thing" he says.
"What, Connor?" You roll your eyes.
"What was it you're supposed to be doing again?" He says, giggling.
"Oh that's it! Out!" You yell, pointing him in the direction of the door.
He slowly stands up looking back at you after every step he takes toward the door just to make sure you aren't kidding.
