Budo walked to shins shared house. He was wearing a long sleeved shirt to cover the bruises he had gotten from his father yesterday. He knocked on the door and within seconds it opened. Chojo smiled at Budo as he opened the door " hey Chojo is shin home?" He asked. The young boy seemed hesitant but nodded. He let Budo in and took him to his boyfriends room. Budo saw Shin lying on his black bed facing the wall. Budo looked around shins room admiring the beautiful purple wallpaper and the desk full of papers. He went up to his boyfriend and shook his shoulder " Shin are you ok?" He asked. Shin grumbled and turned over, Budo looked at shin confused. He had an eye patch on like the girls but it had small specks of blood "shin what happened?" He asked worried. Shin got out of bed and hugged Budo mumbling he was fine. Shin slid his arms down the boys shoulder causing him to shiver in pain. This didn't go unnoticed, shin pulled Budo's sleeves up to see purple bruises all over his arm. Shin looked at Budo's arm, he was horrified "Budo tell me what happened" he demanded only to get silence. Budo yanked his his arm away and started making up excuses. Shin didn't look convinced " your not very good at lying" Budo stood up straighter "if you tell me yours I'll tell you mine" he offered. Shin was at a stand still. He didn't want Budo to know however he didn't want to worry him. Budo looked at him with pleading eyes " fine. I was attacked by your psycho ex- girlfriend. She stabbed me in the eye with a ritual knife. Don't worry the damage isn't permanent" I said in defeat. Budo looked at him puzzled "I don't have an ex you're the first person I've dated since primary and that wasn't even real" Budo explained. Shin looked at him with disbelief " there is no way that's true" shin slurred. Budo just shurgged before telling him to describe the girl "short orange and brown hair. I know she's in your club" Budo thought over the description until one name came to mind 'Mina' he thought ' I'm gonna have to ask her about it tomorrow. But why would she do that' he felt guilty. He felt an arm wrap around his waist, shin rested his chin in the martial artists hair " it's not your fault. Come on I've got you. Now tell me your story" shin persisted. Budo pressed his face into his boyfriends chest " Roy attacked me saying it was my fault for something. Then my dad saw and.....well" Budo felt shins arms tighten around him. He heard the ex-delinquent growl out a string of curses before letting go Budo and heading towards the door "where are you going?" Budo questioned " to teach Roy and your dad a lesson" Budo could practically feel the anger hurling out of shin. Budo quickly ran after shin. He was about to grab his shirt but he tripped on the leg of the table and smashed into shin chest causing them both to fall to the floor. Budo quickly recompose himself as shin started turning around. He held shin down by the wrists with all his strength. The boy didn't struggle against his hands as he could see the boy started to cry "please don't" Budo pleaded. Shin sighed and kissed the boy which seemed to calm him down.
