We landed near a beautiful lake to take a break.I sighed and sat down on the edge of the lake.I sensed something dark.Something dreadful.
'The abyss.Beware of the abyss.'A voice whispered.
"Did you here something?"I asked,feeling a bit creeped out.The voice.It sound dreadful and dark and.....scary.
"No."Daniel answered.
"Me neither."Sonya added.
"Maybe your just tired from the journey,Adrian."Daniel said.Maybe.
Suddenly,I felt a dark aura approach us.I turned around and saw a Pokémon.It has dark blue to gray body covered in white fur.It has a ruff around its neck and chest and a tuft on the top of its head adorned with a single blue-black oval. It has a feline face with almond-shaped,ruby eyes,a scythe-like tail,and a sickle-shaped horn on the side of its head.Its broad feet are equipped with three claws each, and spikes protrude from the heels of its hind legs and the elbows of its front legs.It was staring blankly at me.
"It's an Absol!"Daniel exclaimed excitedly.
"Don't use Ralts,Adrian.It's a dark type!"Sonya said."Use your Spinarak to battle it!"She warned me.
"Okay."I nodded and took out Spinarak's Pokéball.
"Go Spinarak!"I shouted.The spider Pokémon emerged out of its Pokéball and got ready for battle."Use Poison Sting!"Spinarak released poisonous barbs toward the Absol.But it dodged the attack.
"Use Pin Missle!"I shouted.Spinarak grunted as it released poisonous missles toward the Absol.It stood still,as if it was waiting for something to happen.It was hit,but it only did little damage.It charged toward Spinarak.Its tail began to glow.
"Watch out!"I shouted,but too late!Spinarak got hit by the attack!
"Okay.Use Pin missle,Spinarak!"I ordered.Spinarak released Pins toward Absol.This time,it scored a direct hit!The Absol fell down the ground with a loud thud.
"The Absol is now down,Adrian!Catch it!"Daniel shouted.I nodded.Now that he mentioned it,I'll catch it because it seems like an awesome Pokémon.
"Okay.Go Pokéball!"I shouted.I threw a Pokéball toward the Absol.The ball shook for a while.Finally,it stopped.
"That's awesome I captured an Absol!You are also awesome Spinarak!"I exclaimed and turned toward my Spinarak.It started to glow.
"Whoa!What's happening?"I asked.My siblings looked at it excitedly.
"It's evolving Adrian."Sonya said.
"What's evolving?"I asked.I know.I feel dumb.But remember,I have little knowledge about the Pokémon world.
"When your Pokémon has reached a certain level,it will change form and grow stronger."Daniel explained."Also, some Pokémon don't have any evolution,like an Absol."He added.
As Spinarak stoped glowing,its color changed into red,its legs grew longer and it grew larger.
"Adrian,Your Spinarak evolved into an Ariados."My brother smiled.I stood there,dumb-founded.
"What is an Ariados?"I asked.My brother fell down anime-style while my sister ran toward a tree and banged her head against its trunk.
"Why do I have to have such an idiotic brother?!"My sister shouted heavenward.I felt like such an idiot.I love Pokémon,but I have little knowledge about them.
"An Ariados is the evolved form of Spinarak!"Daniel screamed at my face.Oh.So that's what they called 'evolved form',a Pokémon changes form.
"Oh."I nodded with understanding as the chaos before me grow.
"So can I see my Absol?"I asked.They calmed down and nodded.
"Okay,just make it quick."Daniel told me impatiently.I grinned.I wanted to see my new Pokémon.My Absol looks awesome!
"Okay come on out Absol!"I exclaimed.
"Sol!"The Absol exclaimed when it emerged out of its Pokéball.I smiled as it stared at me blankly.
"Hello Absol!Welcome to the Team!"I exclaimed and hugged it.Absol wagged its tail and licked my face fondly."My name is Adrian!"I added.He answered with a 'sol',which means he's glad to be in my team.
"So,has anyone got some rest?"Daniel asked.I nodded while Sonya made a face.
"I'm still tired!"Sonya complained.
"I'm still full of energy!"I exclaimed excitedly and returned my Absol.
"But my legs hurt!"Sonya whined.We rolled our eyes.How can her legs hurt if we flew up using Pokémon?
"Okay,I think we will stay here for a while."Daniel sighed.Oh man!I was so pumped up to go to Kanto!
"I am so excited to see this Kanto region!"I exclaimed.The biggest challenge is now ahead of me,waiting.
