So this is my first entry. I haven't ever had a diary before and it is kinda weird. Anyways, I thought I would write because I have been feeling a bit down lately. You know, so depressed that you don't wanna talk to anyone. It is all because I have been thinking about my Father lately.
Before I was born my mom worked at a pizza shop and met this guy who was going to the college near by. I don't know what the story is from then to the time I was born. It's like there is just a gap of time that no one wants to talk about. Anyways, I was the result of them working together. When I was 2 years old he left. And I think I know why.
At the same time my mom was working with my father, she was working with another guy. He is now my stepfather.About the time that my father left my half sister was born. So I figured that the reason he left was because maybe my mom was cheating on him and got pregnant. I have no clue.
"Brooklyn! Come set the table dinner is almost ready!" My mom shouted from the kitchen.
"Coming," I walked downstairs and got the plates and silverware. I placed them on the table in front of the seats. I went and got some of the bowls of food and placed them in the center of the table.
"I talked to your grandmother today. She wanted to know if you were going up there for Spring Break," my mom asked.
I always go to my grandmother's house on school holidays. When I was little, my dad didn't tell her about me. She found out about me because she got a child support letter in the mail addressed to my dad.
"Of course. I always go," I told her.
"Brooklyn, I worry about you going up there for holidays. I don't want certain-- people-- to show up," she said with her teeth closed firmly.
"What are we talking about? And what is burning?" My sister walked in like she owned the place, as usual.
"Oh no!! My bread!!" Turns out we were supposed to have bread to go with our dinner and my mom forgot about it.
