~ Chapter 3 ~

"Come on Brittany, rise an shine". Oh, school yay, ok really this sucks. Wait Mom should be at work..? "Shouldn't you be working" "Oh no I forgot to tell you last night, I didn't have to today". Umm ok, thanks Mom. As I walk down the stairs still groggy from just waking up (and still in my pjs). I didn't notice the sound of someone else in the kitchen, until it was to late. As I came around the corner Skylar looked up and said, "Wow an I thought I got bedhead". I turned around to run and ran right into the wall. "Brittany are you ok?" , he asked as he picked me up off the floor. "She's fine Skylar sit and eat", I look over at Mom and she's trying not to laugh. As I'm getting breakfast I can hear them whispering about me. I sit down, Skylar looks at me and says, "Can I ask you a question?". "Sure", I say questionably. I hoped he hadn't saw Chelsie yet and was asking about her. "So who does your hair?", he grinned. I got up an went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. I could have died, there's no other way of putting it, because at that moment I wanted too. I walked back out and sat down like nothing was wrong and said,"Why I don't know what you're talking about it looks dashing", in my best British accent. He looked at me, his eyes got huge and he started laughing.

I was getting ready to leave when Skylar told me to wait for him. So I was standing on the porch waiting for the bus and Skylar, which gave me more time to think about the wolf, and how I felt a connection to it. Almost the same way... I forgot what I was thinking about when I saw the bus coming down the street. Skylar came running out with my hoodie and pen from the night before. As he walked to the bus I got a weird feeling, he stopped and said,"Britt you coming?". I stopped and whispered softly, "Sure thing handsome" as I walked by him he whispered, "I am aren't I?"

We had all are classes together, except three of them, but most classes I have with him I have with Chelsie. Which has already had two boyfriends today and has been working on Skylar all morning. Oh and did I mention she hates me even more since Skylar's hanging out with me? Lunch time roles around and Skylar walks up to my lunch table and asks why I'm not sitting by anyone. So I tell him, he just laughs, "You quiet, no friends, and nerdy. Now I've heard it all." "Yea that's me always has been always will be".
