As Long As I'm With You: A Broppy Story

Chapter 1

Branch and Poppy had just thrown Cloud Guy off the flower. Poppy giggled, and looked down.

Obviously the crowd had caught him. But she then started thinking.

If Cloud Guy isn't a Trolls, a human, or a Bergen, then what is he?

A cloud, I guess, she thought, and shrugged.

She looked at Branch, who was looking down at he feet. She waved her hands in front of him and he shook his head and blinked his eyes.

"Oh, wow, that's bright! Umm....sorry, Poppy, I was just thinking....."

"Oh, yeah?" Poppy smirked. "About what?"

Branch blushed. He shrugged. "Stuff."

Poppy giggled, and grabbed his hand again.

"I'm so glad you're finally happy," she said, and smiled.

"Hey, there's only one person who made it happen."

Poppy blushed. "And who's that? Guy Diamond?"

Branch tilted his head. "You're a sky little one, aren't you?"

"Yes, as a matter of fact, I am!" Poppy said, and looked up at Branch. "So, um...."

They stood there in silence, and Poppy was getting closer and closer to Branch.

Are we having that moment?

She kept scooting closer and closer to him, and he didn't push her away.

I think we're having that moment!

Branch stepped back. "So, uh....what's your favorite song?"

Poppy sighed.

Apparently not.

"True Colors," Poppy said, and started stepping closer to him, but he kept dodging her.

"Come on!" Poppy whined. "Hold still!"

Branch laughed. Poppy grabbed him, and leaned in, when the flower came sinking down.

They pulled apart in shock of the sudden moment.

Darn it

Everyone looked at them. Branch left to talk to Guy Diamond, and Satin and Chenille ran up to Poppy.

"Did you kiss?" Satin asked, excitedly.

Poppy shook her head. "I tried."

"And he refused??!!!" Chenille cracked her knuckles. "That idiot...."

"No, he didn't. He was teasing me. By the time he finally let me, we were pulled down by the flower."

Chenille rolled her eyes.

"Broppy is never going to happen."

Satin just laughed, and so did Poppy.
