Up To No Good

The Hogwarts express

Lily's POV:

September 1st 1971,

Dear Diary,

Today I am off to Hogwarts with Severus, and Audrey. According to Sev there is no better house to be sorted into then Slytherin but I'm not so sure if I could make it, I mean Slytherin is all about being cunning and I think I am more about loyalty I don't really want to be in hufflepuff but if that's what I really am, then I'm going to embrace it.

We met at platform 9¾ I was first to arrive followed by Audrey and last but not least Sev, you would think the only one in our group with some wizarding heritage would be first to get there but no he was 15 minutes late. 

"You really should try to be more on time" said Audrey she had curled her auburn hair and worn her favourite tank top and jean shorts.

"Well I was going to come early but I thought you guys would take a while finding the platform so I took my time" he told us

"Clearly you were wrong, and you should remember that Lily is never late for anything" said Audrey

"That's true, do you guys want to go find seats"asked Sev

"Sure" we both replied 

We walked into the very back compartment. We were the only ones there, that was good we could be as loud as we wanted. Audrey was going to mingle with other people but me and Sev stayed in the compartment to talk.

"You better be in Slytherin"said Sev"my entire family was in it so I'm bound to get in"

"Who would want to be in Slytherin, Gryffindor is much better" I heard someone say behind me 

I turned around to find four boys looking our way, well three one of them had their nose stuck in a book.

"I'm James, James Potter, this is Sirius, Remus, and Peter" said the boy who had spoken before, he had brown eyes behind square glasses and messy black hair that stood up at the back. Sirius was the tallest of the group and had long brown hair and blue eyes.Peter was the shortest but his smile made up for it and Remus, well I couldn't really tell what Remus looked like because of his book.

"Mind if we sit" asked Sirius 

"The train is a public space, you may sit wherever you like"I told them.They went and sat in the booth across from us.

"I didn't quite catch your name" James said

"That's because I didn't say it" I said smugly 

"It's true she didn't" said Remus speaking up for the first time but not taking his eyes off his book.

"I'm Lily, this is Severus, and that's Audrey" I said pointing over my best friend who came back into the compartment.

Audrey's POV:

I heard Lily mention my name as I was coming into the compartment and realized that we were not the only ones in there anymore. There were 4 boys sitting in the opposite booth from Lily and Sev. 

"Hi" I said

"Hello, I'm Sirius, this is James, that's Remus and that's Peter"

"nice to meet you, wacha reading there Remus" I said 

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them"Remus replied

"Really?! I love that book I've basically memorized the entire section on bowtruckles, but I seriously love how Demiguise's can turn invisible and see the future"I said

"I know right I mean how do they do it is it the fur the eyes, it's just so mysterious"Remus replied 

"Oh no book nerd alert, looks like we're not going to see a lot of Remus for the next few weeks" said James sarcastically 

Remus just rolled his eyes at that, and got up to get some snacks, I went with him.

"Any thing off the trolley dears"asked the trolley witch

"Um I'll get a chocolate bar, and a pumpkin pasty"said Remus

"I'll get the same" I said 

We paid for our snacks and went back to the compartment. 

"Ah Remus got chocolate no surprise there" said James

"Hey it's really good okay" Remus told him defending himself

We sat in another booth across from each other while we ate we talked about creatures.

"Another one that fascinates me are werewolves" I said and for some reason he froze up when I said that

"Oh um yeah there really cool I guess" he said with a bit of hesitation.

"I mean they're just so cool because they can turn into wolves any night they want" I said

"No they can't, they actually turn into really creepy human dog things on the night of a full moon, if they could change whenever they wanted I would never ever change"he said and after he finished he clapped his hand over his mouth.  

"Wait your a werewolf?" I asked

"You can't tell anyone"

"Don't worry I won't"

"If anyone found out i would for sure have to move"

The thought of Remus moving away took me by surprise. I mean we only just met bet I felt like I knew him my entire life. And no I didn't like him but he felt like the other half of myself.

"Don't worry your secret is safe with me" I said and we continued on our way to Hogwarts.
