Life As Teen

Chapter 1

Hi, my name is Anna. I am 17 years old,who attends The St.Georges College. Just as any normal teenager,I liked boys. But,I just wasn't confident in myself about talking to them. But, since my best friend Susan and I didn't go to the same college (she goes to Yale),I don't have anyone to talk to about them.
Now,where can  I find my dorm?
As I stepped in dorm 118,I saw a girl with long,blonde hair and in a Minnie skirt with a tank top. She said to me"are you going to be my roommate? I said yes and my name is Anna what is yours? She said "Marianna";she said to me "there will be a party keeping tonight if I would like to go" and I said "no,I am not really a party person" and she didn't say anything,she just walked out of the room. A little while after that, a boy walked in; looked like he was also new. He was asking for dorm 123 but, I was in dorm 118. I stammered to answer him. So Marianna saw him and said "Charlie,dorm 123 is down the hall"; he smiled at me and said "OK,thanks" to Marianna. I stood in shock.
The next day, Every time that week,when he sees me he try to have a conversation with me,but I keep walking away. One day, it looks like Marianna saw what I did to him. She said to me "can I give you a make over and please talk to the boy and ask him on a date" so I said "yes you may give me a makeover but I'm afraid to talk to him,suppose I say something bad?" "Don't worry I'll take care of everything" she said.
I sat there while she was giving me the makeover I was wondering what would I say,my heart was racing so fast I felt like I couldn't be breathe. After the makeover I felt like a totally new person. But, the fear of talking to boys was still in me,it was one thing I hated about me.
