*Two weeks earlier*

Ciel and Sebastian was walking out of Undertaker's shop with new information about their case. Everything was pretty much usual. They had left the servants at home with hope to find their house when they return. Elizabeth had left to a cruise with her family week ago and should return after ten days. They hadn't heard from Lau in a while, but knew his business was going well, Madame Red was still the same and had a new butler Grell.

Ciel and Sebastian walked along the streets and rows of shop. It was pretty much crowded considering that the sun would set in two or less hours.

Suddenly Ciel bumped into someone and from the impact would have fell to the ground if Sebastian wouldn't have caught both him and the person, which just bumped into them.

"Please forgive me, I wasn't looking there I was going"Ciel apologized even though the person more likely ran into him than the other way.

"It's alright, child. I'm at fault too"an old and small height woman apologized. When Ciel looked closer at her he saw that she looked just like those witches from fairy tails. The witch dusted herself and turned to leave, but stopped. She slowly turned around

"Oh, by the way"she said looking at Ciel with mysterious grin "Be careful, Ciel Phantomhive, two weeks from now a Scarlet Moon will rise. I wish you luck"with that she walked away. Ciel looked at Sebastian with questioning look. Sebastian didn't answer anything looking after the woman as she disappeared into the crowd.

*Present*

Two weeks passed and today at Phantomhive estate a party would be held to celebrate Ciel's thirteen birthday.

Many people had gathered for the occasion Elizabeth or Lizzy, like she prefer to be called, being one of them.

The evening went smoothly. Everyone had a great time and even Ciel, who usually hated balls, enjoyed himself. Except one moment, when the Earl felt somewhat dizzy and by strange reason tried to kiss his fiancee, who was very happy by that.

A night came and one guests started going home, while the closest friends and family stayed for the night.

Sebastian had prepared his young master for bed and left him alone needing to clean after the ball.

At first Ciel had quite pleasant sleep, but sometime along the midnight he started to feel very hot and dizzy. A sound like someone running in and out the room was heard. Ciel opened his eyes, but no sign of any visitor was heard except the fact that the curtains on the window, which were always closed during the night, was now open. Ciel slowly get out off his bed the world spinning around him. He got on his feet and swayed a little bit. He stumbled to the window supporting himself with a wall.

Ciel looked out of the window. Everything was pretty much calm except the fact that the moonlight seemed different color today. It was scarlet red. As soon as Ciel realized that the moonlight hit him in his eyes and he closed them for a moment. When he reopened them again and looked straight at the moon he couldn't help, but be mesmerized by it.

His dizziness faded away along with heat and he somehow felt taller than usual. His nightgown too became shorter and tighter, but he didn't care now. He didn't care about the fact that his body somehow grew into a one of seventeen years old. All Ciel could see was the brilliant red moon.

Suddenly the teenager felt the need to walk out of the room. He did just that and walked out in the hall. He heard footsteps and hided behind a statue.
