CHAPTER 4

"Jungkook! Please move the chairs to their places!" Soomin yelled from the kitchen as she made carbonara pasta, which was Minju's favorite.

"I'm on it!"
Jungkook said as he arranged the food on the table. Then just as he was finished arranging the chairs, the door bell rang.

"Jungkook, Can you-"

"I'll get it!"
Jungkook replied as he hurriedly shuffled to the door and opened it.
It was the delivery man with the Pizza. 7 boxes were delivered and Jungkook gladly placed it on the table.

The day was hectic since they were throwing a birthday party for Minju. They decided that they want to be the one to prepare for it. Daehyun was in charge of cooking along with Soomin. Jungkook readied the chairs and tables. The birthday party was simple, yet elegant. It had designs, banners, and balloons which were blown by Jungkook and Minju.

"Jungkook Oppa, I'm done with the balloons!" She said running to him while hugging the balloons she was so proud of.

"Great job, Minju. Now let's stick it to the walls okay?" He said smiling at her and reaching for a scissor and scotchtape.

The preparation for the party went good. Everything was in place and a few kids had arrived. They weren't close with Minju but still got invited. The gifts became a mountain beside the cake on the table. Minju was really happy that she gets to have a birthday party prepared by the people she loved,  namely her Mother, Father, and Jungkook. Also Ms. Choi and Mr. Son.

The party went on, they played games and the music blasted through the speakers, yet, as Jungkook watched, Minju was only standing beside him.

"Minju, why aren't you playing with the other kids?"
He asked, looking at her.

Minju didn't say anything and just went behind him.  Jungkook knew that her action meant she didn't want to say anything.

Time passed and every child with their parents had gone home. And so did Jungkook. It was time for Minju to open her gifts. Her parents beside her, looking at the things she received. As of right now, she had opened expensive gifts like Wii, Prada, Rolex, Gucci, a limited edition stuffed toy, and branded clothes. She was down to the last box, she read at the card sticked to its side, that it was from Jungkook.

"From Jungkook huh?" Soomin said.

"I wonder what he gave." Daehyun said as he peeked behind his wife.

Minju successfully torn the wrapper and it was a dress. A simple dress that it is pink in color. It was so obvious that the dress was normal and wasn't any special. It had a flower at front and the lower part was designed. Minju held up the dress and a small card fell out.

Daehyun picked it up and read what was written.

'Minju-ah,

Happy Birthday! Jungkook Oppa is sorry that he can't give you anything that is expensive, so please atleast accept this dress that Oppa made for you. Stay healthy and happy Minju. Always know that your mom and dad are always there for you. We love you Minju!

"Aww, he's so sweet." Soomin commented on both the letter and dress Jungkook gave.

"I like it, Mwommy." Minju said, raising it in front of her parents then hugging it as if it was the most precious thing she had.

A day later, Jungkook and Minju was silently watching Moana on netflix. Daehyun and Soomin were at work. As usual. Jungkook's phone buzzed inside his pocket, it was a Nokia that still had keypad and isn't touch screen. He received a message from Daehyun saying that someone named Kim Taehyung was visiting and he should welcome him, take care of him, and give him the room near the hallway. Jungkook thought on who was that person. But his thoughts were taken away by Minju saying that she wanted to eat pancakes.
