It was year 2099, and earth had been destroyed over 35 years ago.
We were now living on Eucador; The planet with four suns and in 2 blue moons from now, it also would have its own apocalypse. Eucador would be destroyed when its four suns came into synchronism at the pole, (Eucador had only one pole; The occulus pole) They would shine at the same time at one place with an intensity so great, it would ignite eucador’s core, causing it to explode into nothingness.
Eucador’s apocalypse was an inevitable event, which the scientists at EPAS ( Earth’s post-Apocalyptic squad) and NASA, had predicted Thirty (30) years before, They had known even before the earth was destroyed, that the new planet Euçador would only sustain them till now, when its suns would in synchronization destroy it.
After their discovery , they'd sent many astronauts to outter space, with a mission to find planets that could sustain them when eucador was destroyed , many lives were lost, contact was lost with some of the astronauts or perhaps they'd just gone AWOL and overall the mission had failed until Adetiba Olisa my father, had found Xraco; The planet with no atmosphere, this was not a problem as they easily been able to react chemically with the limestone, for xraco was full of it to produce oxygen, there'd been planets like xraco without atmosphere but xraco was special for it had Gravity.
Eucadorians (Humans who had been born on eucador) and the last of the earthlings had been Elated at the news of a new habitable planet, until the Announcement:
DEAR EUCADORIANS, IT IS WITH GREAT REGRET , THAT I HAVE TO INFORM YOU THAT NOT EVERYONE WILL MOVE ON TO THE NEW PLANET. THIS IS DUE TO THE FACT, THAT THE PLANET LACKS THE RESOURCES TO HOUSE ALL OF US, AND AS A RESULT ONLY HALF OF THE POPULATION WILL MOVE ON TO XRACO.
A CONTEST WILL BE HELD, A CONTEST TO THE DEATH AND THE SURVIVING OF THE FIGHT WOULD BE GRANTED PASS.
