Aarini was the only child of Raj and Meera, who loved her dearly. Their family life was peaceful until Anjali, a new neighbor, moved in with her mother. Raj's mother, Savita, didn't approve of Anjali because she was Bengali.
Raj, although not a particularly loving husband, found himself attracted to Anjali. Savita, worried about Raj's interest in Anjali, devised a plan to remove her from their lives. She tricked Meera into going out to Anjali's place, causing Meera to be hit by a truck and leading to her death.
Devastated by the loss and misled by Savita, Raj married Anjali. Savita manipulated Raj into believing that Anjali was responsible for Meera's accident, creating false evidence to suggest that Anjali was having an affair. Believing the lies, Raj expelled Anjali from their home.
Anjali, now alone, gave birth to Swara. Swara was admired for her intelligence and kindness, which incited Aarini's jealousy. Things took a turn for the worse when Swara joined Aarini's college and became popular, even catching the attention of Aarini's crush, Arjun.
Arjun, a spoiled young man, desired Swara as his girlfriend. When Swara rejected him, Arjun's parents approached Anjali to propose marriage. Despite her reluctance, Anjali agreed due to pressure from Arjun's parents and a desire to avoid further conflict.
Aarini's jealousy turned into deep-seated hatred. She began to sabotage Swara's life by hiring someone to follow her and tampering with her mehndi to irritate her. Aarini also ruined Swara's wedding dress to make her seem unlucky.
Aarini tricked Swara into visiting a temple under the pretense of a cleansing ritual. At the temple, Aarini pushed Swara into the river and falsely claimed that Swara had eloped with someone. Aarini showed a doctored photo to back up her lies.
Arjun, convinced by the fabricated evidence, believed Aarini's accusations. The family condemned Anjali, blaming her for poorly raising Swara. Overwhelmed by the accusations and her mother's sudden heart attack, Anjali left the city in despair.
Aarini and Arjun's wedding went ahead amidst the turmoil, with the family ignoring the drama and continuing to blame Anjali's family for everything.
I'm not changing much or adding more things to the story. Only properly writing the story. And no problem at all if you don't remember as I remember it after rereading. 😁😁
