Episode # 5
Sanskar and Swara entered the venue, giving the Maheshwari family a sidelong glance.
Sanskar whispered, "Time to begin the drama, my dear wife," and planted a quick peck on her cheek.
Swara, with a playful glint in her eye, replied, "Okay, my dear hubby," returning the gesture with a wink. Cameras flashed as the media captured their moment, and the room filled with cheers. Rajnath and Sakshi exchanged knowing smiles, while the Maheshwari family struggled to register that Sanskar was alive—and that Swara was his wife.
Sanskar and Swara walked past the Maheshwari family as if they hadn't seen them, heading to the table reserved for the Goenka family.
Suman exclaimed happily, "Our Sanskar is alive?"
Vikram replied, "I see him too, but if Sanskar is alive, why didn't he come back to us?"
Ram said, "I'm going to meet my son, but why did he marry that characterless girl?"
Sujata added, "I'm coming too."
Vikram cautioned, "Wait a minute, Ram and Sujata. I think we should wait until the party ends. If that's not Sanskar, the media will have more gossip. And this isn't the right place to discuss our family matters in public." The others nodded in agreement.
Meanwhile, Arjun was seething with anger—first, at seeing Swara with Sanskar, and second, at seeing Sanskar alive. He had been about to inherit the land in a few months, but now, with Sanskar alive, the land would go to him instead.
On the other side, Aarini was trembling with fear after seeing Swara alive. She also couldn't help but admire Sanskar, especially after realizing he might be the son of a wealthy family. She regretted marrying Arjun even more.
Sanskar and Swara were secretly enjoying the Maheshwaris' expressions, while Rajnath and Sakshi walked by and stopped a few steps ahead of the Maheshwari family, almost in a secluded corner.
Rajnath said, "Sakshi, today I'm very happy."
"Why, Raj?" Sakshi asked.
"Because we gained Sanskar as our son," Rajnath replied.
Sakshi added, "You're right, Raj. We lost our son, but in that accident, we found Sanskar. We don't even know about his real family, and he only remembers his name. If I ever meet his family, I'll thank them for giving birth to such a gem. He's never made me feel like he's not my real son."
The Maheshwari family was stunned by this revelation and became desperate for the party to end. Arjun cursed Rajnath and Sakshi under his breath for saying such things.
After an hour, the party had mostly wound down, with only a few guests lingering. The Maheshwari family approached the Goenka's table just as they were getting ready to leave.
Vikram Maheshwari stepped forward, introducing himself. "Hello, Mr. Rajnath Goenka. I'm Vikram Maheshwari."
Rajnath replied cordially, "Oh, hello, Mr. Maheshwari. Nice to meet you. What brings you here?"
Vikram, his eyes drifting to Sanskar, said, "We overheard your conversation earlier."
Ram interrupted, "We heard that Sanskar is not your real son."
Sanskar's expression darkened with anger. "How dare you say that?"
Suman quickly intervened, "Beta, we didn't mean it that way. We heard that you lost your memory and don't remember your family... Beta, you are our son. Our family's son."
The Goenka family feigned shock, exchanging looks of disbelief.
Sanskar, Swara, Rajnath, and Sakshi all reacted in unison, "What?!"
