Jerome looked at Mitch with wide eyes, almost breaking into a smile until Mitch muttered that he still doesn't remember his past.
"Jerome!" Adam shouted, running over to them, smiling. "You waiting for them to come up?"
"They dont have the staffs yet,"
"I mean, it is a long way down,"
"We would have received it on the way up, you know," Jerome sighed. "It must be lost or something,"
Mitch handed over his staff.
"Here, go fetch them or something," The boy said. It feels weird to have him speaking actual correct english. "I'll be waiting, biggums,"
He smirked, and Jerome flushed red.
"Shut up," He said, before jumping down.
He turned to Adam, who was confused.
"Mitch?"
"I remembered how to speak," he said. "My past is still fuzzy doe,"
Mitch felt questions about the team rush through his head. However, he kept quiet, not wanting to question Adam, who stood beside him awkwardly.
For one question though, he is particularly curious.
"Adam?"
Adam snapped up to face Mitch, sweating a little.
"Does Jerome like me?"
Adam blinked, before giggling a little.
"Of course he does!" Adam said, sitting over the edge of the island. "You know, he has helped escape many people, and we are just the only few that survives the harsh conditions."
"It wasn't that harsh," Mitch sat down as well. "I mean, all i had to do was follow him."
"He's soft on you since you are handicapped last time," Adam smiled. "Trust me, that's a good thing."
Feeling something looking at them, Mitch moved away from the edge of the island, standing up. Adam looked at him, confused.
Seeing a tentacle aimed at Adam, Mitch pulled him away, staring at the dark blue tentacle destroying the floor of the island, making somewhat of a creeper explosion dent.
Looking up, he jumped back from yet another attack, pulling Adam aside.
"Heart," the blue woman sat on top of the squid, grinning down at the two. "You want to give yourself to us?"
"Of course not," Mitch said calmly, getting out of his fighting stance.
"Well then, it has been a while," the girl got off the squid, landing on the island. "Fight me,"
Mitch scanmed her face. All she had was the fire in her eyes, the anticipation. Muscles tensed up as he took a step forward, putting one leg out in an L shape. Putting his hands before his face, he imitated a boxer in a ring.
The woman lunged forward, aiming a punch at his face. Mitch dodged swiftly, punching the woman in her face, which she promptly blocked with one hand. However, a bolt of pain charged through his hand, making him scream as he clutched his wrist.
"Another fighter power. It allows me to have elements in my arms and legs," the woman smiled, taking off her gloves.
Adam drew his sword, only to let Mitch give him a signal to not disturb them.
"This feels familiar,"
"We used to be sparring partners,"
Another rush of memories came crashing about in his head as he dodged another punch, giving her a kick in the gut. She promptly kicked back at his foot, making Mitch fall back.
Before she could actually kill him, Adam jumped in, sword sharp against her foot, drawing blood as he raised the weapon again for a slice across her chest. However, she won't be that easy to kill. Jumping back, even with her injured leg, she drew her dagger, bouncing around the platform.
Mitch felt his brain throb in his head, memories flooding in without his permission.

Landing a punch on the girl's face before him, he felt the adrenaline pump through his veins. The girl retaliated with another punch, right to his stomach, and electricity shocked right through his body.
"Fighter! Don't use your elements!" The boy shouted. "I'm not using them!"

"Tch," the woman's put both hands at her hips. "You wanted to protect your friend there, but you lasted shorter than him."
Adam lay on the floor, groaning. His sword was launched far away from him, to an area where he can't reach. The woman's dagger was held dangerously close to his neck.
"Well, bye,"
Before she could decapitate the boy, a foot struck her dagger, making it skid across the stone floor. Jumping back, the woman hissed, kneeling on one foot.
She looked at Mitch, shocked. The wounds on his body started to sizzle, and slowly, the skin returned to its original self. Two hands before his face, Mitch felt his blood start to pump faster.
Or maybe it wasn't blood. It kinda hurts.
The ache within his body was evident, really. At his wince, the woman laughed.
"Cute little hughes... You in pain?" She laughed. "Its a side effect of having healing powers,"
Kicking him in the gut, Mitch screamed when the ache started spreading everywhere, trying to repair his body. Panting, he managed to stay up right, as exhausted as he is.
Adam got up slowly, drawing his golden sword out as well, going into fighting stance.
"Two v one?" She asked, not expecting an answer. "Well, fair enough."
As she pounced, Mitch began to hope that Jerome gets up soon.

As Jerome passed the staff to Ant, he felt his bones ache slightly at his gut. Flinching, he massaged the area before he felt his brain black out, whispering words to him.
"Jerome... hurry... please..!" It whispered loudly, echoing in his head.
"Jerome?" Ant looked at his friend.
"Ah-i'm fine..."
He really hope he is.
