His eyebrow lift an inch hearing Byul's response. "You don't know?"

She shook her head repeatedly cause she really don't know the old man infront of her.

"He is Chairman Kim Bool-Am. The owner of this Kim General Hospital, the Kim field enterprises, Solar Film Production, and different hotels here in korea and internationally.. A well known entrepreneur in--" But the old man raised his hand to stop his assistant.

"I want you to work for me."

Byul was stunned on the old man's sudden order. He sits like a king and she can feel his eyes piercing to her behind his glasses. "W-work? What kind of work?"

"You will do what I ask you to do.. Just simple as that."

She examine the old man's face. But Byul didn't see any emotions in his face but his words sounded so playful. She became more suspiscious on this old man's real purpose. "Sorry but I don't do dirty jobs. And I'm not interested to DOM (Dirty old man)." She stood abruptly, turn around and walk towards the door. But the old man laughed.. Byul turn her head to him wandering what's wrong.

"I think, you're over analyzing things, child."

"You're taking it the wrong way." He added.

She finally turn her whole body to properly face the old man. He looks fragile because of his old physical appearance but her guts is telling her that this old man is not a simple person. He is like a bomb waiting for the exact time to explode.

"What do you mean?"

A quick upward turning from the side of his lips made Byul feel the spike of electric running through her spine..

"I want you to be a bodyguard."

Suspicion crawl inside her. "Why do you want me to be your bodyguard?"

"Not for me... For my grand daughter."

Byul is confuse why this old man suddenly appeared infront of her and asking her a job. And as a bodyguard?

"Let's have a deal.. Take my offer and be my grand daughter's bodyguard. All you need to do is stop her from doing unreasonable things and I'll give you good salary plus your father's needs.."

She felt her heart skipped a beat hearing his conditions and proposal. How did he know my father? Oh, yes.. He's the owner of this hospital, ofcourse he knew my father.

She's trying to weigh what he said. While looking at the old man, still with his eyes darting to Byul's eyes. The latter can feel her eyes getting heavier, but she can't lose this staring game. She's still bewildered  on the old man's sudden deal. "Why would you like me to be your grand daughter's bodyguard? You mentioned that you are rich. So you can afford a higher and well trained bodyguards."

She noticed a sudden twitch on his left eye. But it was so fast that she almost missed it. Or maybe her eyes are playing tricks on her. So she blinked twice to sharpen her sight.

"I don't need well trained bodyguards.. Right now, skills are not important."

Byul was befounded. She thought that this man is a nutcase. How will a skilled and well trained bodyguard is not important?

"I just need someone that can handle my grand daughter and stop her."

What? She can't read the old man's face.. He looks serious but his words are so hard to believe to.
