The playoff is the most interesting part of the season (In my opinion). It has the most exciting moments and this is where teams show what they have got. There are both in each conference (East and West) 8 teams that made the playoffs. Those 16 teams then compete in rounds in a series, so depending on how long the series goes there can only be 7 games otherwise your eliminated from the playoffs leaving you to go back to offseason. Once the first round is done then comes the semi-finals of the playoffs just like the last round whichever team wins the series goes to the next rounds.
