?? : *huffs* Damn Anjalee! The fuck is in this box that's so heavy?!

Me : *sighs* I told you to get this bag. You wanna be Wonder Girl.... careful! You'll break it!

My crazy ass friend, Renee, rolled her eyes at me while struggling with my box full of figurines. I shook my head while looking at the dorm room numbers.

Oh! I apologize.  My name is Anjalee. Im a freshman in college me and Renee. Renee already unpacked and found her room already so she is helping with mine.

Renee : 215......217......2...ooh! 219! Bout time.

She sits my box down on the floor and stretches. I laughed at her old ass. Me and Renee been good friends since freshman year of high school. We bout act like sisters. Shes the blunt side and im just the innocent one. Well....cant be that innocent if youre with Renee. Im mainly the calm one yanno?

Me : You was gonna die wasnt it?

Renee : Bitch YOU carry that damn box up 3 flights of stairs damnit.

Me : I TOLD you to give it to me in the first place.

Renee : Yeah yeah. Open the door now so I can meet some boys. I caught my eye on like.... two of em earlier.

I shook my head and grabbed my door key. Once I unlocked it the door flew right open and inside the room was someone looking at me. My eyes widen at the sight.

Her long black hair was curly. Pretty brown eyes. Tattoos on her arms. Caramel colored. Piercings that were cute on her. She was just....

Renee : Damn!

I looked at Renee real quick smacking her arm. She looked at me crazy then.

Renee : What she's fine.

She laughs at us breaking the stare I had at Renee. I smiled at her softly.

Me : Hi. Um... im your roommate Anjalee.

?? : I was wondering when was you coming. *laughs* Come on in.

I walked in and placed my bag on the floor. Renee cleared her throat and waved at me.

Me : Where you going?

Renee : Finna go see if a fine ass stud in MY room damnit. Aint no way you got a hottie living with you! Ill text you.

And after that she left.  I shook my head at her. My roommate laughs at her and the conversation we had.

?? : Your friend is crazy.

Me : Thats Renee for you. *smiles* I didnt get a name from you.

?? : My name? Oh right. Everybody calls me Jaii.

Me : Nice meeting you Jaii.

Jaii : Likewise. *smiles*

I smiled back and looked around the room. It was nice and not too small like I would imagine. Two beds, a bathroom, a kitchen area, and small living room for TV. It was real nice.

Jaii : Is this your box outside the door?

Me : *looks* Yes. Renee ass was struggling with it. I was gonna get it.

Jaii : No worries I'll get it. *walks over to my box*

Me : Ok. Careful its...

Before I could finish my sentence she picked it up already with no struggle. She walked inside shutting the door with her foot and placed the box on the kitchen counter. I was a tad shocked cause I KNOW that box is heavy.

She then looks at me and smiles. I smile back and laughed a bit.

Me : You must work out?

Jaii : I do a little here and there. So, which bed you want ?

Me : *looks* Uh... it doesnt matter. Which one you pick?

Jaii : I didnt. *laughs* It doesnt matter to me either. 

Me : Well then pick if it doesn't matter.

Jaii : I told you to pick though.

Me : I dont care which one !

Jaii : I dont either !

We then bust out laughing at each other. She has a really pretty smile to me. When we cooled down I cleared my throat.

Me : Well I'll pick the one closer to the bathroom then. Happy?

Jaii : Delighted. *chuckles*

I shook my head then. Jaii phone started ringing then. She took it out her pocket and her eyes lit up at the screen for a bit. I sat on my bed and listened to her convo.

Jaii : Hey you here?...... Ok im coming down to meet you......yeah. Ok I love you too baby.

Baby? Awh damn she taken. Well I could have known. Hell she too damn fine to NOT be single.

Me : Baby ?

Jaii : Yeah that was my girl. She's outside waiting on me.

Me : Oh. She's going to school here ?

Jaii : Yeah. Majoring in Fashion... something or whatever she said. Its a long word. *laughs*

Oh lord..... Fashion Choreography? The major IM majoring in?

(Tbh... I dont think thats a REAL major. Im just putting two and two together thats all. DONT GET ON ME NOW ! 😭))

Me : Well thats a coincidence. Thats my major too!

Jaii : Small world. Wanna meet her?

Me : Ill meet her later. I gotta start unpacking. Tell her hi for me though. 

Jaii : I will. Ill see you later.

Me : Ok boo.

Jaii then leaves and I sighed loudly when the door shut. Great Anjalee. Your roommate is fine as hell and shes taken. AND her girlfriend probably WILL take your class next week. A GREAT day Anj. Just great.

A knock was then at the door. I got up and walked towards it opening it. It was Renee looking mad.

Renee : Dude! How you get a fine ass roommate and I get a dud !?

Me : *laughs* Your roommate is boring? 

Renee : VERY!

Me : *laughs more* Well my roommate is taken. And her girlfriend will be going to college here majoring in Fashion Choreography.

Renee looked at me shocked and mouth open. I nodded my head agreeing.

Renee : Damn! Really?

Me : Yes.

Renee : Dang girl. Well hell forget her. We can find some girls or some boys that will catch our attention. Wanna hit the food court? Its lunch time now and im hungry as hell.

Me : I gotta unpack.

Renee : Girl you got later. Come on.

Renee then grabs my hand and pulls me out the door.

Me : Wait WAIT ! I need my phone girl!

Renee : I got it for you. Lets go.

I shook my head and just followed her. Her ass is something else I swear.
