?? : Alright Mami you ready?

I looked up from my phone and saw Jaii walking my way. She gave me a small smile showing her white teeth and what looks like a bruised lip.

Me : Damn did Imani punch you in the lip?

Jaii looked at me confused then. She touches her bottom lip then lets out a long "oh".

Jaii : Nah nah. She kissed me and bit on my lip too hard. I guess I didnt felt it. *chuckles*

Me : Ooh. Ok then. Im ready though. Where to first.

Jaii : Lets go to the building youre gonna be having classes in.

I nodded my head and followed her. While we were walking we talked a bit as well. We went from siblings to where we from to whats our favorite food and all. It was honestly nice.

She showed me almost the whole campus and where the "Lit Spot" be at. That's where all the parties and block parties be mostly. I heard they be lit on another level.

Jaii : Have you always been this goofy? *laughs*

Me : Shut up *giggles* im not goofy.

Jaii : Sure you're not.

We reached the food court finally cause I was getting hungry doing all that walking.

Jaii : You hungry?

Me ; Hell yeah. I think I want Chinese today.

Jaii : *chuckles* Alright. I'm at this burger joint. We'll sit at this table we're at.

I nodded my head then started walking to the Chinese place until someone bombarded me. The person dropped his drink getting some on me and him. Well most of it on him. A growl then came out of nowhere.

Guy : *looks at me pissed* You tramp! You waste my drink on me!

Me : You bumped into me! How I waste your drink? Besides it got on me too. Soap and water do wonders for ya shirt.

Guy : I should punch you in your face for this. I JUST got this damn shirt!

The guy then drops his half empty cup and picks me up by my neck choking me. I started hitting his arms and kicking him in his stomach as hard as I can but he wouldn't budge. He smirked at me like the shit was funny. Nigga I WAS CHOKING!

A growl then erupted again but this time not from him. The guy looks behind me then and his eyes went wide a bit. Who is it I wanna know!

?? : Put her down before I rip your throat out.

Guy : She spilled my drink on my shirt!

?? : I said PUT HER DOWN.

The growl gotten louder making me scared. Who the hell is this person and why are they growling like THAT? He looks from whoever it was speaking then to me and nodded.

Guy : You so damn lucky.....

I'm still coughing over here barely breathing. He then drops me on the floor and walks off. Im gasping for air and could finally breathe.

A figure was in front of me helping me up on my feet. I finally looked and smiled.

Me : Jaii....

Jaii walks me to the table and sits me down. She then squats down in front of me and checks out my neck.

Jaii : *growls* The hell happened?

Me : He bumped into me and spilled his drink on me and him. *coughs* Then he got mad and me and my big mouth told him soap and water do wonders for it and he got really mad and grabbed me by my neck.

Her eyes were slowly changing colors again. I looked at her and placed my hand on her cheek. She then looked me in my eyes.

Me ; Thank you. For helping me.

Jaii : It's no problem. You gotta be careful with these people out here.

Me : *nods* W-was that you that growled?

I blinked at the question she asked me. Damn she heard that? Was I that damn loud? I didn't care. Anjalee was in trouble and I was 2 seconds from slicing that dude with my claws.

I looked at Anj and thought of a lie.

Me : Nah. Those were the TVs hanging above us. They on the National geographic channel. You didn't see that?

She shook her head no then said ok. I sighed in relief in the inside and grabbed her hand.

Me : You still hungry?

Anj ; Actually..... No. All that got me tired.

I understood and told Anj to hop on my back so I can take her to the room. She got on placing her head on my back. Her soft breathing tricked down my back relaxing me myself.

When we got to the dorm room I opened the door with my key and placed Anj on her bed. Well half of her on the bed. The other half was clinging onto my neck.

I unwrapped her arms one by one and placed them gently on her. She got comfortable right away and dozed off in her sleep. I smiled at her. She is adorable sleeping to me.

Anj : Thank you again Jaii.

Me : No problem ma. Ill be back later. Dont wait up on me.

She then nods her head on the pillow and goes to sleep. I left the room texting Imani telling her come on. She text me back saying ok making me bite my lip. Oh she getting it today.
