My eyes were blinded by the sun light shimmering through my window,I blinked a couple times adjusting myself in my surroundings.I was in my simple blank room covered in my blankets,I saw on my bed site table my phone beaming with light from getting a notification.

I reached out and grabbed it,smiling form the notification.It was from Y/N,my girlfriend sending me a good morning text.

Morning JJ,excited to visit your parents today xx

I smiled even brighter,happier that she was more excited than nervous,I decided to reply.

Aww Morning to you to Princess xx I'll come and pick you up round 2

I look closely at the time to see it was 1:30.Dammit I have half an hour to get ready and I am lying in bed making my thoughts wonder round.

*Time Skip*

45 minutes later I rushed around the house on the quest for my shoes while I was gaining laughs from the boys.Once I finally found my shoes I left without saying a word,sprinting to my car.

Once I drove to Y/N's house,I strolled to her door knocking on it and waiting.After waiting it revealed my beautiful girlfriend.

"JJ your late"she laughs closing the door and hugging me,I grab her hand and smile starting to walk to the car.We both got in and sat in silence.

"Y/N my parents will love you,just like I love you"I smile holding her hand,she blushes and replies "I'm excited JJ".

*Time skip*

We arrived at my parents house and straight went to eat,we were all sat in the dining room eating the roast my mum made in which I have missed a lot.

"So Y/N what do you do for a living?"my mum chirps.

"I do art videos on YouTube Mrs Olatunji"she smiles

"Please love call me Yinka"my mum replies smiling,Y/N nods while my mum looks over to me and mouths 'she's a keeper'.
