"AMY COME HERE" my mom yelled from the front door. I got up and walked to the door. Wait let me tell you about myself before I get into the story, My name is Amy Flecher, I am 16, basically a normal teenager, but blind. I spend my time at the apartment I shared with my mom, school or working as a student teacher. Me being home a lot means I memorized every square inch of our house. Now you know what you need to know. Now, continuing with my story. I met my mom at the door and put my hand on her shoulder. "Yes mother" I said looking towards her. "Amy, this is Hayes, Nash and Cameron. Nash, Cameron, Hayes, this is my daughter Amy," she stepped to the side. "Please come in." I was standing in the middle of the door way until my mom cleared her throat. "Oh well thanks mom not telling the blind girl that shes in the middle of the damn door is always a nice thing to do." I said walking back to my room.
"Amy come out here and meet the neighbors." My mom called out. I groan and grab my cane. I walked out and felt for a empty chair. "well Hello, I'm My mothers daughter, and If you try to baby me because I am blind I will literally fight you." I said. "Really Amy" My mom said. "Well you wanted me to meet them, Walking up to them touching their faces is not a great way to introduce yourself to someone" I said getting up and walking into the kitchen. "do yall want some food." I asked opening the cabinet. "No we are going to order pizza, You can join us if you want." I said sure and shut the cabinet "Oh shit I need to go to work." my mom said. She kissed my forehead and grabbed her keys. "well I have a odd request" I said sitting back in my seat. "And that is?" someone said. "Okay so yall know I am blind, can you guys say your names and like let me feel your hands, Weird but thats how I remember the best" I said.
"Im Nash" he said putting his hand in my hand. His hands were kinda soft kinda rough. "Im Cameron" His hands were soft, and I could tell he works out. Dont ask. "Im Hayes" Girlllllllll his hands were softttt like damn I just want to hold his hand 24/7. "Damn b I'd hold your hand every chance I get" I said letting go of his hand. "Well do you want to come to our apartment?" Cameron asked. "Sure." I said.
Hayes P.O.V.
"I'm Hayes" I said. I put my hand into hers. I watched as she trailed her fingers around my palm. "Damn b I'd hold your hand every chance I get" She said letting go of my hand. "Well do you want to come to our apartment." Cameron asked. "Sure" she replied getting up. She put her hand on my arm and we lead her to our room.
"Be careful, there are boxes everywhere" I said leading her to the couch. We sat down and made small talk until the pizzas got there. We ate and laughed. "Want anything to drink? we got water, sprite, and pepsi." Cameron said standing up. "Sprite please" she said wiping her mouth.
She was handed a cup. "Want to see something cool" she said smiling. We all said yes. "okay, throw me something" she said. Nash tossed her a pair of keys and she caught it. We were amazed. "I may be blind, But when something is coming at me, My brain takes over. And BAM I CAUGHT IT" she said. We ended up talking about our lifes and stuff. "Shit what time is it?" She asked pulling out her phone. Her phone read out 11 Pm. "Fuck I got school tomorrow" she said throwing her head back. "Where at? I have school at Paramount high or some shit" I said "Heyyy thats where I was switched to... Tomorrow we can walk together if you want.. But you probably already have friends there so if not thats okay. "she said unfolding her cane. "I will walk with you. Do you want me to walk you across the hall to your room" I said. standing up. She nodded and I grabbed her hand and we walked out. I walked her to her house and her mom opened the door. I went back to my apartment and went to bed.
Amy's P.O.V
I woke up to my alarm. I got up and got in the shower, I got out and wrapped my towel around me. "Amy Hayes is in your room" My mom said through the door. "okay He can help me with a outfit." I said putting on my bra and underwear (I highkey cringed writing that) and threw on gym shorts. I opened the door and walked to my closet. "Hayes pick me out an outfit please." I said opening the doors.
He picked out a summer dress from the left of my closet where my summer clothes are.

I changed and put on my shoes. I grabbed my cane and asked hayes if he was ready. He said yes so we left. We made small talk until we got a block away from the school, Some people came up getting Hayes away from me, then, some girls shoved me around pulled my hair and started hitting me. After about 5 minuets I was alone, scared, and lost. "AMY?" Someone yelled, It sounded like Cameron. "Amy what happened?" Yep it was Cameron. "Cameron I want to go home" I cried out burring my face in my hands. "I got your bag and cane, lets go home" He said picking me up.
*Flash forward 10 mins to Cameron's apartment*
Cameron's P.O.V
I unlocked my apartment door and carried her to the couch. I called Nash and Hayes, telling them it was bad and they needed to get home right away. I ran across the hall knocked. When no one answered I ran back to the apartment. I grabbed a rag and cleaned up her face and arms. Hayes came running in, he was out of breath and sweating. "holy fuck are you okay" He said running to Amy. "What the fuck Hayes, where were you? Why did you let this happen to her?" I yelled.
Amy's P.O.V
When Cameron yelled I jumped. "Cameron its not his fault" I said smoothing out my hair. They argued for a while until Nash came in yelling at them to shut up. I pulled out my phone and asked siri to call 'birthgiver'. "Hey mom, I didnt make it to school, I forgot my book so I said screw it and went home. love you.. Bye" I hung up and felt eyes on me. "Call her back and tell her the truth" Nash said plopping on the couch. "What she doesnt know doesnt hurt her" I said.
