            That night I couldn't sleep. I tried to imagine puppies and kittens, but it was like Leon was invading my dreams. They would die and Leon would pop into my head. "Go away Leon!" I yelled. "Sweetie are you.." another thud shook the house. "I'm fine mom." I said. "Okay, get some rest." She said. "I wish I could.." I mumbled. The next morning I called Kylee and we met up at the park. We walked down the road to our hideout in the woods. It was a little shack in the woods my brother had built for me when he was still around. But now it was just me and my mom. It was a small home that had 2 sleeping bags and a flashlight and 1 window looking out on the river. Outside the little house was a bench, half a tree held still by metal poles. Kylee and I sat on the bench and looked out onto the river. Soon it got dark and Kylee texted her mom and I texted my mom that we were going to spend the night.
