THE ONE WITH A BURNT TURKEY

"Ross, did you know that mom and dad are going to Puerto Rico for Thanksgiving?" Monica asks her brother as she walks into the coffee shop.

"No, they're not."

"Yes they are, the Blymans invited them."

"You're wrong."

"I am not wrong. I just talked to them." Monica argues. Heather let out a small laugh at how ridiculous the argument was.

"I'm calling mom." Ross gets up to go call his mother. Joey walks over to the group with a huge smile on his face. Heather looks up at him from her spot on the floor, leaning on Chandler's legs and notices he's wearing makeup.

"Are you wearing makeup?" Chandler asks.

"Yes, I am. As of now, I am Joey Tribbiani, actor slash model." He smiles, taking a sip of the coffee Rachel had brought over for him.

"That's so funny because I was thinking you looked more like Joey Tribbiani, man slash woman." Chandler says. Joey rolls his eyes and sets his coffee down on the table.

"What were you modeling for?" Phoebe asks.

"You know those posters for the city free clinic?"

"Wow, so you'll be one of those healthy, healthy, healthy guys?" Monica asks.

"You know, the asthma guy is really cute." Heather says and Phoebe agrees with her.

"Do you know which one you'll be?" Chandler asks.

"No, but I hear Lyme disease is open, so.." Joey trails off.

"Good luck, man."

"Well, you were right. How can they do this to us? It's Thanksgiving!" Ross yells while taking back his seat in the recliner.

"Okay. How about if I cook dinner at my place? I'll make it just like moms." Monica asks her brother.

"Will you make the mashed potatoes with the lumps?" Ross asks and Monica nods her head, agreeing with her brother so he wouldn't be so upset.

"Could I come?" Heather asks.

"Yeah, but I thought you were going home."

"I was supposed to, but my parents decided they had to go to Paris instead." Heather sighs and Chandler pats her shoulder in a comforting way. Ever since she moved out her parents would always flake on holiday plans and end up going on exotic trips instead. Last Thanksgiving they went to Greece and the year before that was Bali.
