Cold, windy air blasted across the moor where a small, blue figure stood. The wind ruffled the furry ring around its neck and its long ears. It didn't seem to be freezing from the air and simply sat down, peering though the fog. Slowly, a slightly bigger red figure pulled itself with great effort towards the blue figure, shivering and shaking from the cold.
"T-This is r-ridiculous- w-why do we h-have to m-meet out here?" The figure hissed, narrowing glittering golden eyes.
"So you came," Turning its head towards the sky, the blue figure sighed out a white, smoky plume. The harsh wind calmed to a smooth breeze and the red figure stopped shivering. It furrowed its eyebrows as another winged figure quickly landed besides the blue figure with astonishing speed.
"Since when have the Winters cooperated with the Weathers?" The red's voice was clearer and clearly male, sounding a little gruff.
The fast figure cocked its almost arrowed head, "My question is when the other tribes will stop treating us like some kind of destroyers," it dipped its head forwards and spread its wings open with force, causing the fog to disappear. Also male, except with a calm voice, he took a step forward, revealing himself, "Just because we are secretive doesn't mean we hate everyone else." He was smaller than both of the other dragons, however his wings were bigger than himself, he had a narrow head, pale green eyes, sliver scales, small horns, a faintly purple tongue, and a whip thin tail.
"For the tribe that controls weather, you really don't get out much- do you?" The red figure was bigger than both of them, although he looked the youngest. He had blazing golden eyes as well as horns, the biggest horns on either side of his skull, his wings were normal sized and looked tougher and heavier than the others', he had red scales, a pale underbelly, and the traditional arrowed dragon tail.
Slight annoyance showed in the sliver dragon's eyes, and he stayed silent as the blue figure stepped forward. The blue dragon had aqua eyes, long, furry ears, a white ruff around his neck, tail, and legs, gleaming white horns curled around his head which was more solid looking than the others', teeth slightly poked out of his mouth, and his tail was thick with fur. He looked over the red dragon and flicked one ear, "How is your father, young Prince?"
Tensing, the red dragon quietly bared his teeth, "Why do you need to know?-cold flesh."
The blue dragon hid his surprise and dipped his head downwards, "Why, Prince, we are simply comrades- are we not? Don't tell me your father has gone back on his word about allies."
"Do not question my father!" He snarled back, gripping the ground with his claws, "He is a good dragon." Unfortunately he will be gone soon...the sickness is too strong for his body, he thought.
The sliver, weather dragon's eyes glittered with malice, "We already know about your father," his lips parted into a sneer, "Your tribe is crumbling, young one."
"And with our tribes stronger than ever, we have no need of your kind anymore," The blue dragon spread his wings quickly and slammed onto him, holding his claws to his throat, "Fire kind will collapse. And a new, improved tribe will take its place."
Eyes bulging, the red dragon let out a choked hiss, "H-Have w-we not g-given you e-enough? Y-You already h-have your t-tribelands."
"Oh really? Do we? That'd be wonderful, I'd really love that," the blue dragons's voice seemed to be changing from its soft, calm voice to a harsh one. And then almost immediately, long talons raked across the fire's throat, ripping open his neck and allowing blood to spill out quickly.
The red dragon roared out a pained scream, and flailed at his murderer with dying arms. "Y-YOU TRAITOR!-" Dark red bubbles of blood spewed out of his mouth and throat until his head rolled back, and his body went limp under the smaller dragon's form.
Shaking off blood, the blue dragon gave the dead body a look of disgust, "Pathetic, completely pathetic, short-snouts can fight better than that." Having been silent the whole time, the sliver dragon glanced at the body and back to the red dragon, "You brought me here to witness the death of one weakling," he wrinkled his nose, "What is the purpose of this, Erebos?"
Erebos snorted, "I needed him dead anyway. What good is a dead king when the Prince is still alive? And, I am just not going back on my word with you." He reached inside of his fluffy ruff, and felt around until he felt a long string. Pulling out a necklace with a paper on the end of it, he ripped it off. Scales and horns shattered across his body, falling to the ground, and the dragon winced. Pure black scales started to grow in place of the blue ones, and new horns grew. Soon a totally different dragon stood in front of the other. He had black scales, blazing, bright purple eyes, fur like a shadow rose above his head and at the end of his head, his wings were huge and blended in with the night, two long horns stuck out on either side of his head, three horns grew above his nostrils, and his snout grew slightly longer with more teeth.
"I never liked magicked papers," the new dragon spat, "Feel like I'll be stuck in that form forever."
Turning back to the skies, the sliver dragon blinked, "We must go now. Do we have a deal?"
Erebos held out a black claw, "We do, Chinook."
Chinook took his claw and shook it, then turned and took off towards the sky, followed by Erebos. The wind and fog started back up, covering the dead, red dragon's corpse.
"Come," he flapped his sliver wings, "Let's go kill someone else."
