This was my first published novel! (I've changed the title for now.) When the press went out of business, the rights reverted back to me. One day, I may finish the series. It was originally a planned trilogy. For now, I hope you wonderful Wattpad people enjoy this YA fantasy, woven with pieces of Native American mythology and culture. His wings were frozen with the cold, but the adrenaline in his veins kept him going. The warm and inviting light he was so longing to return to was disappearing behind him. He flew faster. His wings fought the wind as he pushed himself to go further. Exhaustion was setting in, and he was sure that he'd faint any time now. His whole life was about to change. Just as he thought his wings had reached their limit, he felt it. The extreme magical energy surrounded him, taking his breath away. He erupted in a gleeful laugh, he had done it. He hovered just inside the Lullivaughn Wall, and turned to look back at his home. The only place he had ever known, yet now it was nothing but a burden. He could no longer see the Castle, or the city, but the Tree of Souls stood out majestically above the City of Iven-Ra. He took in it's beauty, for he had never seen the entire tree all at once. He gave a sad smile, almost as if saying goodbye to an old friend. The silence in the air broke with a loud yell. "Prince Lukesevaughn, no!" He needed to be quick now, any moment they could catch him. Turning back to the barrier, he braced himself. He counted to three, tucked in his wings, then threw himself into the forcefield.

There is a reason there are so many fantasy books in the world: they were once real. She doesn't have any friends at her new school, and spends her time writing on a novel, or climbing trees with her cat. She is invisible... until Richie and Bernard kidnap her and she is thrown into a world that she only thought existed in fantasy novels. She is completely helpless. Mason Harvey is also a quiet kid, and he also had a rough past, but his rough past is from the fantastical world that Caroline was previously unaware of. Can Mason save Caroline from the two boys before she becomes forever enslaved? And what will happen when he discovers Richie and Bernard are not what they seem? *** Here's my little disclaimer, guys: This is a very happy-go-lucky almost romance that I wrote back in grade school. There is proper grammar and I personally think it has a fun plot, BUT there isn't much complexity to it. It's short and sweet if you want to give it a read :)
