**3rd place winner in Ovipets first Character writing contest in 2016.** A small griffon family starts off in a warm den. A just hatched cub, father, and hard working mother living in the same nest. Friends all about, and beautiful scenery everywhere. Follow Nadeline along the cliffs and river she calls home as she speaks with her friend Evergreen and works to take care of her newly hatched cub. This may be continued if enough people like it, but it will have to wait until after I finish my other book projects!

All families have secrets. Some are hidden so deep that it's years before you find them out. Sofia Williams has to wait until she was the last of her line, after the death of her grandfather before she discovers the deepest and darkest of her family's secrets. Unable to accept the sins of her forefathers, she goes about trying to fix the wrongs they've done to one man, a man that's been held prisoner by her family for generations. She discovers his truth as she works to make things right and finds that her destiny is wrapped up with his. Learning about him turns out to be learning things about herself that she never knew, including who she really is. ** This is an older novel, my first entirely original one and I am putting it here while I polish it up for publication. His wings were frozen with the cold, but the adrenaline in his veins kept him going. The warm and inviting light he was so longing to return to was disappearing behind him. He flew faster. His wings fought the wind as he pushed himself to go further. Exhaustion was setting in, and he was sure that he'd faint any time now. His whole life was about to change. Just as he thought his wings had reached their limit, he felt it. The extreme magical energy surrounded him, taking his breath away. He erupted in a gleeful laugh, he had done it. He hovered just inside the Lullivaughn Wall, and turned to look back at his home. The only place he had ever known, yet now it was nothing but a burden. He could no longer see the Castle, or the city, but the Tree of Souls stood out majestically above the City of Iven-Ra. He took in it's beauty, for he had never seen the entire tree all at once. He gave a sad smile, almost as if saying goodbye to an old friend. The silence in the air broke with a loud yell. "Prince Lukesevaughn, no!" He needed to be quick now, any moment they could catch him. Turning back to the barrier, he braced himself. He counted to three, tucked in his wings, then threw himself into the forcefield.

So I watched Griffon The Brush Off and listened to the song Jai Ho... This kind of just...escalated into something I never would have imagined on my own. Warnings for cannabalism, maiming, and griffons. This is also just a description (as best as I could put it).
