Five pairs of eyes turned to look at them. Two strangers to him. Taehyung upon recognising him bounded over and wrapped the younger in a hug, "Kookie, you came!" He was used to his hyung doing skinship so much so he was comfortable with him. Taehyung had that effect on people. He smiled shyly, "Hi TaeTae." He motioned to Jimin, his voice soft and almost a whisper, "this is Jimin, my best friend." Jimin waved, "Hello. Kookie here talks about you. Thank you for being his friend. Also I know we're born the same year so no formalities needed." Taehyung nodded, "Okay Jiminie. (turning to jungkook) He's cute, like you. I'm honored to be your friend Kookie. Ooh look Yoongi hyung Jimin is as short as you." A male with black hair, dressed in black jeans, a black t-shirt with a black leather jacket and black hat scoffed at the remark. He presumed that to be the Yoong mentioned. Taehyung responding by chuckling. He made an 'o' face before motioning them to follow, "Come. I'll introduce everyone." He followed behind again his shyness surfacing. Taehyung motioned, "you know Jin and Hobi of course. That tall being beside Jin is namjoon, Jin's husband. He is really smart but also kinda clumsy .... okay a lot clumsy. The short one is Yoongi hyung. musical genius and kind of a grumpy cat. Don't interrupt his sleep. Guys this is Jungkook from the diner and his cute best friend Jimin. Jungkookie here is the baby." Jungkook huffed, "Hyung! I'm not a baby!" Jimin scoffed, "you might as well be you're so innocent." Jin stepped forward, "Oi, leave my small child alone." This caused Jimin and Taehyung to start cackling. Jungkook pouted. Taehyung once again grinned mouthing 'cute', "alright let's go see the movie."
When they all got settled after making Namjoon hyung get the tickets Jungkook found himself seated between Jimin and Yoongi. The seating placements went Hoseok, Taehyung, Jimin, Him, Yoongi, Namjoon and then Jin. They being the only people in the theatre. Food was being shared and passed around. As soon as the lights darkened and the movie began Jungkook was entranced. Only brought from about halfway through when Jimin nudged him holding out a small box, "hoseok hyung and tae said to please pass to yoongi hyung as these are his favourite." Nodding Jungkook took the box. Turning to face the older his voice was hushed as he gently tapped on his arm, "hyung?" Yoongi glanced at him in acknowledgement. He held out the box, "H-Hoseok hyung and tae said these are your favourite and to give them to you." Yoongi reached out to take the box. Their fingers brushed against each other and Jungkook flushed. Moving his hand back with almost lightning speed. Yoongi looked back at the screen without another glance. With a deep breath Jungkook followed. To be honest the older slighlty intimidated him but at the same time he found the older to be quite attractive.
When the movie was over they walked to a restaurant nearby that Jin knew. Sitting at a table for eight they ordered light food. Everyone began conversing with each other. Jungkook opted to sit back and observe, listen. He was feeling a little frazzled. You could tell as he tugged at the shirt sleeves hiding his hands. Jimin turned to him watching for a moment. His voice low so not to disrupt the others or be heard, "you okay? did you take, you know?" Jungkook nodded, "before I left. Hyung I'm okay, I promise. Just a little tired but don't worry." Jimin hesitated but after Jungkook gave him another reassuring smile he nodded turning back to join the conversation. Glancing up he saw Yoongi watching him intently. He turned a light shade of pink, looking back down and returning to playing with his fingers. Not brave enough he didn't look up again.
It was on the way back to the cars did he glance at Yoongi again. The first time Yoongi was focused on answering Namjoon. The second time however when he glanced again Yoongi locked gazes with him. For a few seconds he forgot how to breath. Only when Jimin bowed with a happy, "goodbye. I look forward to seeing you again" did he look away. Taehyung nodded at them, "Nice meeting you. Indeed it was fun." Hoseok waved, "We should do this again, all of us. I presume we'll see you tomorrow Kookie. Goodnight." On the return journey was when Jungkook spoke, "You can stay the night if you'd like. I have spare clothes and tons of movies I still haven't watched." Jimin grinned and nodded in agreement, "sounds like a plan." Jungkook smiled. He felt like he hadn't spent quality time with the other in a while and he misses him.
