"Sammy!" I smiled cheekily at him through the computer web-cam, knowing he hated being called Sammy. He smiled back to me. "How have you been?" I asked slightly concerned. Every since we were young he would shut himself off from people for days, even weeks, without talking to someone. I'm always worried it would happen again.
"I'm actually happy, life's good and O2L just announced a US Tour!" Sam replied proudly. O2L, or Our2ndLife, was a collab channel Sam was apart of along with 5 other guys, including Kian, who I don't talk to often since he moved to LA.
"Are you sur-Wait... AS US FRECKING TOUR?" I screamed obnoxiously loud.
"And guess who got their amazingly best friend a ticket to Cail...." He smirked knowingly at me. My mouth dropped open and I pointed at myself then back to him.
"Don't worry, I've already talked to your mum about it!" He raised his hands in surrender, laughing. Sweet mother of god, that laugh was like heaven to me.. Wait.. What? Eugh shut up Julia. "By the way, plane leaves tomorrow!" Sam rushed quickly before ending the call.
Ok, not like Sam at all... Just than mum walked in the door.
"Here sweetie!" She said, handing me a plane ticket. I looked suspiciously at her while slowly reaching my hand out to grab it. "Oh my, Julia! I've always hope you two would get together! Such a cute co-"
"Mum"
"uple. Oh what do you call it... Opg?
"Mum"
"You know that boat thin-"
"MUM" she stop her rant and stares at me. "Not going to happen"

After the whole 'boat' thing with my mum and frantic packing last night I'm finally on the plane. Even tho I literally live just under a two hour drive from Cali, Sam still bought me a ticket.. The journey is only lasted 10 minutes, yeah i know.. Sams logic.. I grabbed my carry on bag and went to collect my suit case.
I spotted an empty seat near by and walked over to it, sitting down and taking out my phone, which just went off.
Sam:

Boop? I silently laughed, smiling at my phone widely.
