Chapter 8

(A month later)
(Nicki's P.O.V)
Omarion and I are still not dating, I want to date him but i don't know yet. We been hanging out around school and stuff, but outside of school not really. We mostly been preparing for our performance for the talent show. He called me last night saying that he wanted me to go out in a date, that he misses talking to me and all of that. I'm kind of happy that we are gonna get to talk and stuff, Omarion is a sneaky guy and always has tricks up his sleeve. He was supposed to pic me up at around 8 pm and it's only 6 pm but then again I take a long time to get ready. I hop in the shower and start to do all my shower things. (I didn't know how to describe it ) I get out and I put on some ripped jean joggers and a white long sleeve crop top. I throw on my gold chain and go to the bathroom to straighten my hair, I took out the blue and just dyed me hair a really dark brown. I like it better this way it goes better with my outfits better than the blue. Once I'm done I go back to my room to put on my white heels and I grab my white MK purse.

(Omarion's P.O.V)
I been missing Nicki, the only time I get to talk to her is in school because her doesn't want to talk to me much. I mean I have been messing around with other girls, but nothing serious just talking to them. Yet none of them talk t me the way Nicki does and to be honest I feel like I need her in my life. It sounds stupid, but it is the truth ever since she came in my life and then left it hasn't been the same. Last night I called her and told her that I missed her and wanted to take her out on a date. She accepted and I'm happier then I have ever been. Inside of me though I'm feeling like something is gonna go wrong tonight. I'm gonna try to ignore it, but I don't know I just can't help but feel it. I start to get ready though, I told Nicki I was gonna pick her up at 8 and it's 7 so I better hurry up. I hop in the shower real quick and then hop out. I throw on a black polo shirt and some black pants. I put on my Royalty 4s and my gold watch and chain. I grab my wallet and my keys from off my dresser and then spray on some Cologne. I run to the car and start to drive over to Nicki's house. I get there in like 10 minutes and I'm early but I call her anyway. She picks up right away
"Hey Omarion"
"Hey I'm outside."
"I'll be out in a second."
"Alright" I hand up the phone and in the next minute she walks out looking like a model. She so beautiful. I get out of the car to open the car door for her.
"You are so extra." She says while laughing a little.
"I'm just being a gentlemen."
"And I thank you for that." She give me a kiss on the cheek and then sits in the car. I close the door and walk back to the drivers side of the car and pull off.
"Would you like to tell me where we are going?" She asks
"It's a surprise"
"Alright but you know you could have it's ordered pizza at my house and talked and ate there."
"I know but I didn't want to do that I wanted to actually take you out."
"Whatever you say"
"You have the smartest mouth." I laugh
"Well sir obviously you like this smart mouth."
"You right you right"
"Exactly" she laughs
I was going to take her to South City Kitchen in Midtown. It's not too fancy, but it's good. We get there are we sit at a reserved table away from all the other tables on the top floor.

(Nicki's P.O.V)
When we entered the restaurant I thought it was really cute. It was this South City Kitchen place and I expect there to be Southern food. We got literally the best seats, there was a beautiful view and I was amazed. They took our orders and then we sat there and talked.
"Why did you bring me up here?" I asked
"Well I told you I wanted to talk."
"About what?"
"About you and about your life and about me and about my life."
"How come you want to talk about this now and didn't care about talking about this before ?"
"I guess cause before I didn't really think you was gonna have such a big impact on my life."
"Well tell me what you want to know"
"Anything"
"Like what"
"When did you lose your innocence ?"
"Really Omarion you want to ask me when I lost my virginity? I really thought you was different but I guess you're not. I was thinking man I should give him a chance after all he is different from all the other guys. He mad cute and he is actually really nice." I role my eyes so hard I thought they went to the back of my head for a second.
"Are you done going off on me?" I didn't say anything and just looked away. "Well what I meant by innocence was when did you realize that not everything in life is perfect and that bad things actually do happen. For example, I lost my innocence at a really young age. I don't remember exactly when but I know the moment. I was 4 when my mom died in a car accident my dad there me in an orphanage me and my brother. There was one night it had been a month since Twin and I were in a foster home. We hadn't gotten anything to eat all day and got beat by our foster parents. Turns out there was cocaine in the bathroom and drugs in there room. The police raided the house and twin and I sat there on the porche while they took those people away. I realized in that moment that life wasn't all rainbow and happiness. It was gonna be a long road of suffering and hard work." I sat there speechless. I looked at Omarion with a whole other way. "What the smart mouthed girl I know is speechless for once."
"Surprisingly."
"Well tell me when you lost your innocence"
"I was 13 and I was home from school. My mom was at work as usual and my father was home drunk as usual and I had gone to take a shower cause I remember being sweaty cause it was hot outside. Next thing I know my father is pounding on the door for me to open it I start to cry and scream for my best friend King. My father keeps pounding and I grab my phone and call King. Next thing I know my father broke the door open and grabs me. He takes me to the room and starts to touch me meanwhile I'm naked. I start to cry and yell, a few seconds later I hear a big bang and my dad drops to the floor. There is blood everywhere and I'm crying hysterically."
"Damn you had it hard."
"Yea" our food comes but to be honest I didn't want to eat. I guess Omarion saw that
"You don't wanna eat Ma?"
"Not really."
"What you wanna do then?"
"I want to go home or to your house and just chill and sleep."
"Alright whatever you say." He left some money on the table and we left. As we walk to the car we hear tires screeching. We both look over to where we heard the tires and two men hop out with guns. Omarion quickly pulls out his gun from his car and I am shocked at how fast this all happened.
"Really these niggas again?" Omarion says
"Yea us again." BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
