"OH F***", Jack screams from upstairs. He's probably playing a horror game, you think. Not thinking much about it, you return to watching YouTube. As you attract your attention to your phone, a notification pops up.

Happy April Fools Day!

As you read the notification, you realize something. I can prank him!, you think excitedly. Finally a cure for your boredom! As you wonder what to do, an idea forms in your mind. Since he's already playing a horror game, why not scare him even more?

You sneak up the stairs, trying your hardest not to make a sound. Finally, you make it into his office, sneaking up behind his chair. As you notice that the camera is recording, you wave to the camera, and putting your finger over your lips for a comedic effect. You slowly hover your hands over his shoulders, preparing for the attack.

1!

"BOO!", you scream as you shake his shoulders. As soon as you grabbed him, he almost knocked over his chair. As soon as he realizes it's you, he clutches at his chest, trying to breathe. Suddenly, he falls to the floor, seeming to have fainted from the shock. "J-jack, are you okay?", you ask as tears form in your eyes. He doesn't respond. Why would he, you tell yourself. You quickly run to get some water to wake him up. As you get back to the room, you splash the whole bucket of water on him. Suddenly, he wakes up, coughing and sputtering. "I am s-so sorry", you say, with tears rolling from your eyes. You didn't intend this. "W-what happened? I was recording a game, and I suddenly passed out.", Jack asks questioningly. "I did a stupid p-prank, trying to scare you", you say through your tears. Suddenly, Jack puts his hand on your face, wiping your tears. "It's okay, you didn't intend to scare me that badly.", he says while drying off. "I'm still really sorry, because I just wanted to prank you, and it just-". Suddenly, you were cut off by his lips smashing into yours. You were startled at first, but then you started to kiss back. It felt so good, and helped you calm down, but it had to end. Finally, he pulls back, smiling while looking for your expression. You smile back as him, and hug him as tight as you can. Suddenly, he leans into your ear and whispers something you'll never forget...

'I'm really good at acting,aren't I?'

"I'm going to give you five seconds to run, Jack."

"C'mon Y/N, it was just a prank!"

"Y/N, I was just messing with you!"
3...
"I know you're not gonna hurt me, right Y/N?"

"Y/N, you're not gonna hurt me, are you?"

"I should probably run, right?"

"Yes, yes you should.", you respond.

Suddenly, Jack breaks into a sprint. You start to run after him, and quickly catch up. Suddenly, you are right behind him, planning to tackle him.

You get a little closer, making sure you tackle him.
2...
As you get closer, you start to aim for Jack's body.
1...
You start to get ready to grab him.
JUMP!
You jump, and successfully grab on to Jack's back and tackle him.

He falls to the ground, due to the weight of you. Suddenly, you start to tickle him. "S-stop! I'm t-ticklish!", he says while laughing. "Say you're sorry for pranking me!", you say, whilst having no mercy for Jack. "F-fine! I'll say it! I-I'm sorry!", he says, out of breath. Finally, you let go of him. "Now, let's make up. I'll never prank you again. Now, what do you say?", you question. "I'll never prank you again, deal?", Jack asks. "Deal.".

But, they had their fingers crossed behind their backs the whole time.
