Chapter 8

Juvia POV

My back had stopped hurting and I was in a flowery area that is much like a dream I've been having recently and I could see Gray right in front of me with a smile on his face just like it always was when we were younger.

"Juvia I love you." I blush and he leaned in close to my face but I opened my eyes and saw gray really close to my face and mine and his parents at the door with their phones out and I blush and push Gray's face away and turn onto my side but end up screaming in pain and they immediately move me back to the position I was in.

"Juvia you need to stay laying like that or you'll hurt yourself even more." Gray was worried about me...I could tell by the tone of his voice and how he was speaking to me, he wanted me to be okay.

I nod my head and hear the doorbell ring and immediately wonder how long I was out for and not even really knowing when I fell asleep exactly. The doctor came into the room and asked anyone who wasn't my family to leave and my mom covered my eyes so I couldn't see what's going on but I tensed when she did and she noticed obviously.

"Don't cover her eyes, from what I can tell from how she's reacting is that her captors had her eyes or possibly whole face covered." My mom removed her hand and just held my hand gently and I saw the doctor speaking to my father in the hallway.

"Juvia, what did they do to you?" I held her hand tighter remembering the awful things they did to me, the wipings running knives up and down my back, only things I could hear was my screams of pain and their evil laughing.

"I don't remember. It all skipped my mind as soon as Gray showed up." I lied...I couldn't believe I was lying to my own mother I never even dared to lie to her if I got caught it would mean hell for me.

"I guess you wouldn't want to remember after all that you've been through, but me and your father are going to make sure your safe, I'm sure Grays​ family will do the same for him, that means you'll both most likely end up spending more time together and you'll both have more gaurds." I sighed and burried my head in my pillow.

One Week later...

The doctor and my parents both told me I should wait a few weeks to go back to school cause the stitches in my back could break at any moment when I'm up and walking around but I was starting to feel lonely because of being locked up on my room for an entire week so I snuck out to school before my parents woke up which is any time before 7:00 am so I made sure I was out of the house at 6:30 and I didn't have any of my gaurds with me either because they were all asleep outside my door, shows how much they protect me.

"Juvia!? I thought you were on bed rest till your back healed!?"

I'm so sorry for the late chapter! I got a bit of writters block this last few weeks and had to actually be a human this week but I promise I'll make it up to you all!
