New Sister

Percy's POV

So today Nico brought in the girl to camp half-blood he has been talking about for weeks he has been pretending to be an orphan so that he could watch over her (orders from Zeus) We were all really nervous because this girl is supposed to be the most powerful demigod alive after me of course. She was the one we have been waiting for to complete the 8 and fulfill the prophecy.

Eight half-bloods shall answer the call,

To storm or fire the world must fall.

An oath to keep with a final breath,

And foes bear arms to the Doors of Death.

We were all excited to know that Nico explained a lot about the Greek and Roman worlds which makes our lives easier. As soon as Hope is claimed we will be able to leave for our quest within a weeks time. We were hoping that the gods could help us out and claim her by dinner tonight. I think they heard our prayers because she was claimed by Poseidon at dinner.......... Yup I have a sister 🙀 I had no idea what to do I just ran up to her and gave her the biggest huge ever. Annabeth had to pry me off her. I was so excited but I eventually calmed down and showed her our room and let Leo show her around camp since I could see her making googly eyes at her and Hope and Hope staring at him all dinner. It didn't really bother be because I know Leo and I also know that he would Never Ever hurt Hope because he knows what I am capable of.

But of course the Gods can't even let me and my sister sleep because after Hope was claimed Nico was summoned to Olympus and just before the campfire ended Nico came telling everyone that me and Hope were to go with him to olympus. It was kinda weird but we couldn't just not go.

When we got to Olympus my father and Zeus were arguing about something but immediately shut up and sat down. Hope went down on one knee while I just stood there considering I had no respect left for the Gods. Then Zeus spoke "Rise demigod" Then Hope and I said in unison "Hi dad!" "Hello Percy!" my father said then Just scowled at Hope. I saw the smile leave Hopes face and I was confused why my father would do that. Just before I could say anything about is Zeus said "We have many things to discuss. As you know you will be joint the rest of the demigod so. Your quest but before that there are some things you must know. First off you are the second most powerful demigod after Percy of course. Also that you might notice your father is not quite fond of you so Aphrodite has agreed to give you her blessing. Usually your father would take care of your wardrobe and your possessions but now Aphrodite will do that for you" Aphrodite gave a warm smile to Hope and for a second she almost looked like Annabeth and of course I almost zoned out but Hope nudged me and brought me back to my senses. Zeus then continued "Percy the reason why you are here is that you two have a choice there is a gift and a curse that has been given to ONE child of Poseidon. Now you have to decide who will get this gift but remember this is a curse to at one point on your journey it will bring many arguments but can also save lives. Before Zeus could even say what it was Hope said "I will take this curse and under no circumstances is Percy to get this curse." I started to argue of course it was my fatal flaw I could not see my sister get a curse but Hope made Zeus give his word so it was no use. I was so confused why would she do that for me? Then she started to speak "I would just like to know why my father does not like me?" I could hear how hurt she was because of my fun playful father being so harsh to her. But Zeus just said "I am sorry but I am not the person to tell you this and you need to speak with Aphrodite alone the you and your brother will be transported to Camp Half-Blood" after that Zeus snapped his fingers and I was standing out side Olympus waiting for Hope and once she came out she looked very pale and startled she would not tell me anything and as soon as we got back to camp she went straight to sleep she did not even talk to Nico who was her Best friend. But I think I know what all of this is about.... the Curse/Gift!
