I was walking up my front stairs after going grocery shopping with my mom. When we got to the landing we saw the door open. Mom walked in first and called for dad, to see if he was home. She then called out for my older sister, no one answered. But we heard a clater from behind us. We turned around just as the person shot my mom. She fell to the floor, i dropped down beside her calling out to her. Hoping she was going to open her eyes. The I turn to the person by the door.
"I'm sorry Lucy, I'm so sorry. " The person said as i looked up to look at the face.
His eyes held terror as he pointed the gun at me next.
"Please don't shoot me." I plead for my life.
"I can't let you tell. Its your fault." He said just before he pulled the trigger.
I felt the impact of the bullet and I scream. I hear foot steps running out our backdoor. After a few minutes I hear sirens. I am still screaming in pain as i heard alot of feet running around i felt someone touch me. I start to beg for help for me and my mother. I slowly stop screaming and quite down. I slowly started to fall in to darkness when i hear my father scream.
"What is happening? Where is my wife? Where is my daughters?" I hear him scream before i fall asleep.
The last thing i think about is i am fourteen and me and my mom just got shot.
