The flight wasn't that long, since you took a long nap after worrying about your family for 20 minutes.

As soon as you got off the plane you felt the heat. It wasn't too much or too little, just right.

The first thing you did after retrieving your luggage was text your professor. She got here a week earlier so she could set everything up.

Soon you received a text back with an address. You put it in Google Maps and it wasn't far at all, in walking distance actually.

You stepped out of the airport to see all types of people and scooters and people speaking French all around. You felt a little outta place, the girls there were wearing crop tops, jeans, flats.

While you had a coat and boots. So you immediately started walking before people could start staring. As you took your walk you started getting more and more hotter.

You probably should've checked the forecast.

You arrived in the building your professor sent you, you collapsed. You felt like you were dying of heat stroke.

"Mina~" you heard Professor Jeon swindle. Her expression quickly changed from a happy one to a worried one. You were sweating all over and breathing heavy on the floor.

"Are you okay? What happened?" she said rushing to kneel besides you.

"It's so hot....I need to change..." you said in between breaths.

"Oh okay, this is our hotel, your room number is 207, when you're done meet us in the conference room." she said as she assisted you in getting up.

The hotel looked like something outta Downton Abbey. All the fancy paintings, the way the walls were made, carpet material, even the smell was expensive.

You've never been so happy to have the opportunity to learn more about art then now. It was the right decision coming on this retreat.

After you finished getting dressed you headed to the front desk, the woman had a thick accent but she pointed you towards the conference room where you saw 3 other people and your professor talking.

"Ah Mina, the rest of the students wanted to tour today and meet tomorrow. We can get you started so you can tour tomorrow if you'd like?" Professor Jeon said.

"Yes, I'd like that." you said bowing down.

"Okay so basically, this whole retreat is for selective students to be able to find their muse. The reason why they're doing they art they are. For them to find their type of art they want to do. It's really a spiritual enlightenment. When students do find it, they have to make a piece of art and write a 6 page essay why this defines them, their art, and what it means to them. This way we'll know where to go with the student in their art studies." your Professor explained everything so wonderfully.

Hearing all of that made you even more excited. You were so ready to find what you've been wanting to do but couldn't find.

"That sounds incredible, I'm so excited. Thank you for giving me this opportunity." you bowed once again.

"Okay here's the schedule. I'm so happy you're happy about this, any questions?" you shook your head no before exiting the room. It was only 7 but still light outside so you were gonna do some exploring yourself.

"Mina wait!!" Professor Jeon called your attention.

There was someone falling behind her but you couldn't see their face clearly.

"This is Mahi, she's from the Middle East, and is an amazing waterpaint artist. I invited her for this retreat and she doesn't speak very well Korean, and since you took English for 4 years I thought you could be friends with her?" when the girl walked out of behind her and you saw her face she looks so beautiful. Like an actual model. It was Princess Jasmine in the flesh.

"Oh yes of course, hi Mahi, I'm Mina." you reached out to shake hers. She seemed so nervous around you and it made you wonder what could possible be so intimidating about you?

"OH! Also I want you to meet my son, he lives here in France, hold on let me just call him." she walked away starting to dial a number on her phone.

"So, how's you get into waterpaint?" you said trying to make conversation.

"I-I...was bored. So I tired it and i-it just worked out." she was literally tripping over her own words.

"Um, is everything okay?" you asked looking concerned.

"Everything is okay, it's just y-you're so pretty. I'm a little intimidated y'know." she kept looking and playing with your feet.

You couldn't help but snicker at her remark. You thought she was beautiful and here she is getting nervous because of your looks.

"Oh my..wow I've never heard that before. Thank you so much, same to you." you smiled.

For the first time she lifted her head to where you could see her entire face. All of her facial features looked straight outta a cartoon. She was literally perfect.

"Okay so he's going to be here soon. I'm so excited for you to meet him, he's an artist himself." Professor Jeon gushed.

"Ah Eomma!" a man yelled.

The most handsome man yelled.

"Oh yes, okay ladies this is my son Jeon Jungkook."

"Hello, so nice to meet you." you swear he said that looking directly at you.

Suddenly the room got small and very hot. You started breathing faster and your heart rate increased and he was just standing there.

"I'm K- Ahn Mina." you bowed back.

"The pleasure is mine." he took your hand and kissed it giving you goosebumps and butterflies at the same time.

"I hope that wasn't weird, that's just what we do here when we see a gorgeous woman."

Now your entire stomach dropped.

"Oh well, thank you."

You had dinner with Mahi, Professor, and Jungkook before going back to your room. You saw Mahi walking towards you in the hallway looking a little different from earlier.

"Oh good night Mahi, see you tomo-"

"So you think you'll just waltz in here and sway Jungkook away huh?" she seemed like a completely different person.

"What? What are you talking about?"

"Don't play the innocent card with me, I saw the way you kept looking at him." she said with a stern voice.

She stepped closer to you and pointed her finger in your face.

"Stay away from him." and with that she walked away.

You stood there shocked not knowing what to respond with.

"What a day."
