Run-away Guest

chapter 4

I started to claw at the door .
I heard a sizzling noise come from the opposite side of the door .
"Adrien!" I screamed hoping to grab his attention . No answer .
I backed up . I ran straight at the door . I broke it into two pieces . Adrien stood there with a scratch across his cheek oozing out blood .
"Adrien !" I call out . He turned to face me . His eyes widened with shock but I don't care . Dren stood up and walked slowly towards Adrien . I saw something shiny in his hand .
"No" I whispered . I ran in front of Adrien as Dren plunged the knife into my thigh . I collapsed into the floor in agony . Dren backed up in shock . He covered his mouth and tears flooded his eyes . Adrien dropped down next to me.  He put my head on his lap . I whimpered in pain .
"Shh . It's​ ok princess . You'll be ok " he soothed . He took a blanket out of the dryer and placed in on my body . I morphed back to my human form .
Tears slid down my cheeks .
"Get out !" Adrien screamed . Dren jumped  out of the window .
"Natalie!" Adrien screeched . Aunt Natalie came running into the laundry room .
"What happened ?" She asked and took some of my clothes out of the dryer .
"Dren" I whimpered .
"That son of a ..." She started .
"Natalie . Language " Mr Agreste said coming into the room .
"Err . Sorry sir " She replied . She walked over to the cupboard and brought out the medical box .
"No offense sir but get the hell out of here " She demanded . Mr Agreste nodded and walked out of the room . She handed me my pants and bra . I put my pants on avoiding the stab wound . I sat up and hugged the blanket to my chest . I put my bra on and Adrien clipped the clasps on the back .
"Thanks " I said to Adrien . Aunt Natalie took out the anti-bacteria spray .
"This is going to hurt " She said . I nodded and clutches the blanket tight with my hand . Adrien took my other hand and looked at me .
"This is my fault " He whispered . I un-clutched the blanket and out the hand on his cheek . I wiped away the blood .
"No it isn't" I tell him. I placed my lips on his and he kissed back . Aunt Natalie spayed my leg with the anti-bacterial spray . I hissed in pain.  She wiped the excess blood away and wrapped the bandage over the wound .
"There " She said . She handed me my skirt .
I figit  the skirt on . Avoiding the bandages .
"Change the bandage before you go to bed " She told me . I nodded .
"I have to sought something out " She told us .
"Alright Natalie" Adrien replied . She got up and left . I picked up top and placed it very my head .

"My fault " Adrien said . I cupped  his cheeks with my hands .
"No it isn't " I reply . I place my lips on his forehead .
"Why do you have to tease me ?" He asked .
"Because it's fun " I reply with a smirk . I kissed him gently on the lips . He kissed back . I rose to my knees holding his neck .
"Alright . Marinette . You And Adrien are going somewhere safe .  " Aunt Natalie announced walking in .
I broke the kiss and looked in Adrien's eyes . He looked into mine .
"Oops . Start packing " She chimed and walked away .
"Better do as she says " I say to Adrien . He stood up and handed his hands to me . He helped me stand up .
"Thanks "I said . He picked me up bridal style .
"Adrien" I giggled . He kissed my cheek . He walked into our bedroom .
I stuffed the losses stuff back in my bag. I looked at the money that I had earned a while back .
I sighed and zipped my bag .
"You alright ?" Adrien asked walking up to my side .
"Yep" I said and turned to face .
"Here you go . " Aunt Natalie said handing me some more money .
"What is this for ?" I ask her .
"Adrien do exactly what Marinette does " Aunt Natalie said to Adrien . He nodded in reply .
"Go somewhere safe " She told me . She handed me another bag . I looked in it . I nodded .
"Come on Adrien " I told him . I swung the bags over my shoulder and opened the window .
"What are you doing?" He asked as I climbed out onto the ledge .
"Going to my safe place " I reply . He followed me out to the ledge . I sighed and scaled the building to the roof . Adrien soon came up after me .
I ran over the rooftops of buildings . I stopped at the edge of the roof  .
I opened my bag . I hurried through it .
"Aha!" I exclaimed pulling  a pair pair of shorts out .

I slipped my skirt of and replaced them with the shorts .
"Follow my lead " I tell him .
"Alright" He replies . I climbed over the ledge and held onto the drain pipe . I slid down it . Adrien copied my moves . Once we both reached the concrete floor we walked into the street .
"Come on " I said and walked over to the bus stop . We sat at the stop .
"What are we gonna do?" Adrien asked sitting next to me .
"Hide . For a while " I reply . I took out a £20 note .
"What do you mean hide ?" Adrien asked looking at me confused .
"Dren saw you with me and every single guy he has seen me talk to either ends up missing or dead " I explain to him . His confused expression turned in to a shocked one.
I nod .
"Mari . Who was your baby ?" He asked cautiously while we were waiting for the bus .
"Her name was Emily . Dren was her farther . I honestly thought he would help me through it . Instead . He hurt me . After nine months . I had Emily . But "deep sigh* she died the next day" I tell him . He hugged me tightly .
"Princess . I promise . That if you ever get pregnant . I'll look after both off you . Love both of you " Adrien says . I smile .
"Adrien . I love you " I say kissing him sweetly.
