Nico diAngelo is fucking terrified of the dark. You may think it's stupid. There's nothing in the dark that may hurt you, but when you're a demigod, you're never safe. Then again, you might think, he's the son of Hades, how can he possibly be afraid of the dark. He didn't know. He thought back to the night before, how he'd told Keith. Keith. A stranger. A mortal. Even worse, very similar to the son of Hades himself. He even used more time to tell Will, and it wasn't until he tried to put a blindfold on him for his birthday. He'd freaked and told Will right away.
"Nico?" Lance was waving his hand in front of the smaller boys eyes. Nico looked lazily up at the distraction. "What?" His tone was harsh and explicitly told Lance that he didn't want his attention. He'd zoned out the second Keith and Lance started bickering.
"Who do you think is right?" Lance crossed his arms and leaned more on his right foot.
"Right about what?" Nico found himself asking. Why were he even asking? He should clearly not be asking. He didn't want to be mixed up in all this.
"Allura, she's totally into me, right?"
Nico scoffed. That was the theme of their so far ten minute long argument. "Sorry to say, but no, I'm pretty sure she has a thing for Shiro," he replied.
Lance pouted. "Well that's not fair, everyone has a thing for Shiro!"
Keith stumbled back. "What do you mean everyone? Aren't you like super straight?"
Lance laughed at that. "What? No! I can't deny pretty men these goods:" he did a rolling motion with his hips. Nico could smell the panic Keith was feeling. "What?" Keith's voice was hoarse. Lance then explained: "I don't go by your labels, why would I, I actually couldn't care less about gender,"
"So you'd date Pidge?" Percy walked up behind him.
"What?" Lance sounded offended. "She's a child."
"Good answer." Pidge said.
"When did you even get here?"
"I always know when people are talking about me." She replied.
