The Call !!

Chained

I woke up the third time to the same alarm.,

I was scared, then I did what inception taught me. Tried to remember the minimal details of dream. I couldn't remember anything other than me trying to make a call, BIL calling me and Srini , fire, bike ride.. and it was all flashes.

I am alive. There was no fire, There's  no smoke and most important of all there were no premonitions in my dream within dream.

I immediately wanted to talk to Sanju, then withdrew myself from such stupid idea for numerous reasons

1. She must still be sleeping,. She values sleep better than most other humans (I don't want to check if I am in the list)
2. There's no reason to scare her by reciting a stupid dream
3. I sound very bad when I just wake up, So I need to fresh up first.

And made a very strong mental note..
*No more inception movie before sleeping..

As I got up, there came running the ever cheerful Danny, I gave him a quick rub and proceeded for the daily chores

I called Sanju while wearing shoes and fighting with Danny for the socks.

She's pretty much alright, her plan the whole day was to laze around and watch movies. She's pretty happy about wasting casual leaves available this way.

I was a little concerned so I went against my conscience and told her to be careful and notify me of any plans, she was puzzled at this. I just cooked up a story and ran to work.

I went on to address the action items for the day. I was cheerful as always yet had this creepy feeling., So I kept track of as much minute details as possible.

I even made note of reg.no of vehicles parked beside my bike. Then Srini came in and reminded me about the call and gave me suggestions to work upon.

I made a call to Sanju twice before lunch and once after, just to reassure my stupid head that it's all fine.

Anyways as the clock was about to hit 17:00 I ran in to make the call, I was excited about for days together.

I didn't even know if I really want it, anyways the call with DeeN went real smooth. I was done and as I came out, there's the Dejavu again

There r 3 missed calls from BIL, When I called him, all he told was to come home immediately. As I turned around, I saw Srini getting off the phone and packing his bag.. Woah is fate a Lil slow today?

Srini walks to me and as he was about to tell me something, I told him, I got call from BIL and I'm not going. You can go if you want to.

He was visibly upset and questioned "but why?"

I said I have no idea, and I'm in mood for coffee and walked out towards fire exit (I don't want to be trapped in fire again) being followed by Srini.

I missed a couple of freak accidents as I rushed carefully to my bike. I took the bike out and felt all uneasy. I dialled Sanju, but she's not reachable. I tracked her through our app and her last seen location was her home.

I just drove the bike on and at the traffic signal, saw a weird looking guy staring me and there was this familiar sound.. ignoring him, I took my mobile to look at time and closed my eyes for a moment and

I open my eyes to see 17th March on the display of my daily alarm
