"Hey, Person A. I'm pretty sure it's your turn to do the dishes."
"Oh no no. I did them last night. And the night before that, and all last week too-"
"I GET IT! Jeez, I'll do the dishes."
Getting up, Person B walked quickly (although annoyed) to the kitchen before his wife beat his ass.
Halfway through his unwanted chore, Person A sauntered into the kitchen and hugged him from behind, burying her face into his shoulder blades.
"What are you-"
"SHHHHHHHHH, you're warm."
"But-"
"Nope."
"But I-"
"Just do the dishes."
"Fine, whatever."
Hearing his tone, Person A turned him around so she could face him when she scolded him.
"Hey, don't use that voice with me mister."
"You're so cute when you're angry."
"I AM NOT CUTE WHEN I'M MAD!!!"
Person B smirked and scooped up a finger-full of bubbles. In one swift movement, he wiped them on her nose.
"I don't know, I think you're pretty adorable. The bubbles on your nose match the ones forming in the corners of your mouth." He said this, then resumed washing the dishes.
"Fine, you wanna play that way?" Person A also reached her hand in the sink and grabbed an entire handful of bubbles. Before he had time to react, she had wiped them across his left cheek.
"Who's adorable now?" She taunted.
"Still you, especially after THIS!" He shouted, splashing soapy dish water all down the front of her shirt.
"PERSON B!"
"Person A!" He mocked, in a high-pitched voice.
"I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!" He started running as soon as the words left her mouth, as she had grabbed a cup from the sink, filled to the rim with sudsy water.
"GET BACK HERE!" She screamed, running after him.
Finally realizing he wouldn't notice if she stopped running, she hid behind the couch with her cup of water.
"Person A...?" She jumped out from behind the couch and soaked his entire front with the cup, which was now empty. That was when she realized what was in his hand.
"PERSON B WHAT THE-" that was when he squeezed the handle of the garden hose and sprayed her until her hair was dripping.
"PERSON B STOP!" He stopped abruptly as he realized what was happening. She was walking TOWARDS the hose.
"Oh, come on Person B, don't you want a hug?" He dropped the hose and ran, away from her soaked body, not even caring about the hose. She caught him however, in her arms to be exact.
"Yup, you're still warm." She snuggled into his chest, much to his discomfort, as he too was now dripping.
Tilting her face up and rising on her tip-toes, she planted a short kiss on his cheek.
"Why did you just-"
"Just shut up and kiss me." And he once again did as he was told, although this time he wasn't at all hesitant. She deepened the kiss passionately and very soon they moved it to the dining room table.
"Hey I," *kiss* "think we should probably," *kiss* "start cleaning up," *kiss* "all of this water." He whimpered a bit at hearing this, and she really didn't want to stop either. But, they had to clean this water up before the house was ruined.
So, after much cleaning, the couple collapsed on the couch in dry clothes. Halfway through Harry Potter, Person A was half asleep on his chest.
"Hey Person B, did you ever finish the dishes?"
"Yeah......"
No, no he did not.

(Sorry for using gendered pronouns, but this is a story I originally wrote for a friend and I just changed the names to Person A and Person B)
